OMG Politics, I'm over it already.

Run through the logistics of funding, organizing and maintaining these things and tell me straight faced that Soros could do that under the radar. 100,000 people alone in NYC. I think you're giving him way too much credit instead of just accepting that there in one hell of a lot of people that feel very strongly.

He doesn't have to be a logistical wizard, he just uses useful idiots under his many NGO's that he funds to do his dirty work. Not that hard for him to send his marching orders.

Latest coming protest https://70news.wordpress.com/2016/1...-350-total-another-soros-funded-riot-to-come/

When I do watch the news, I tend to watch Fox because I'm not going to get that perspective from my friends and colleagues. This morning, they ran a segment that George Soros, Al Sharpton, and Michael Moore are funding the protests across the country.

This site was the first one I found that had a link to the segment. I didn't read the article.

Am I the only who  at all those Trump voters who voted out of protest against the establishment, the elite and big money while at the same time saying 'we need a businessman to save our country' ?

On a slighly different note, could you guys make sure that odious Nigel Farage stays over there? Britain thanks you

You're not alone, no.

I'm not even British, but Farage is one bloke who needs a few good punches to his face. Smug little prick that.

Does Trump have a plan to deport these 2-3 million criminals? He does know that you don't just push a button and brown people disappear right? Or maybe he does have one of those buttons.

First they have to exist. The entire US prison population is only 2.2 million people. So it seems unlikely that there are 2–3 million illegal immigrants who are also drug dealers, gangsters, etc. More realistically, Congress could overhaul immigration law to require immediate deportation of illegal immigrants convicted of new crimes, and to require local police and law enforcement to collaborate with the feds on this. But it’s unlikely that the home countries of these immigrants would accept a steady stream of criminals being kicked back their way. It’s more likely that they’ll just send them right back to the USA and tell America to end the drug war that created all the narco-trafficking gangs in the first place.

And that’s probably why private prison industry stock prices are skyrocketing. If the GOP go forward with this plan America is going to build dozens, if not hundreds, of new prisons to warehouse immigrants who aren’t allowed to walk the streets and can’t go home. The 1% will make a fortune from this. First, they’ll loan the government the money to build the prisons. Then they’ll loan the government the money to run the prisons. They’ll also own and operate the prisons, sell food to the prisons, rent/sell staff and prisoner uniforms, and so on. An unlike black men, the latino prisoners won’t have a movement of angry family members trying to get them out.

Not to mention that those folks are the grease that keeps our economy running. I live in a slightly-right-leaning area, and we'll be crippled without immigrant labor, part of which is illegal. Agriculture, homebuilding, service, and who knows what else depend on cheap human capital. I've got a feeling the neighborhood disenfranchised, older, white guys are not going to be rushing to work in the apple orchards or hang drywall and get paid by the sheet.

+1

I've read through the "Trump won't denounce the KKK" stories, and I can see where people think that's the case. It isn't - he just didn't state it soon enough or clearly enough, and that's his fault. The media however wanted that to be the story line and if you say something enough, it becomes reality. They tried that with the election too... but it didn't work.

Trump isn't a Nazi or a White Supremacist. He isn't going to round up brown people, Muslims or LBGQT people for deportation or re-education camps. It's not going to happen, and the sooner the media and the mouthpieces online stop parroting that, the sooner things will calm down. There are always going to be morons who feel they can tell people who don't look like them to "go home". It's sad, but fixing that is (still) going to take decades. We'll get there, we will.

This country has come a long way in my lifetime towards acceptance of different cultures and lifestyles. I'm proud of the progress we've made. We've still got a long way to go and there is no reason for it to stop now. We also need to balance that progress with the realization that no matter what we do, there are going to be people who want to kill us. It's quite a balancing act we're engaged in.

Would you say he is a racist piece of shit?

There was a football game on, and 60 Minutes was delayed here in NYC. I'm watching it now. I'm not even an occasional 60 Minutes watcher, but I'm watching this. It's good to hear Trump denounce the hate being perpetrated throughout the country against minorities. I don't believe that overture will be enough to stop it.

Thanks Jello. I know you are sincerely trying to answer the question and you really can't speak for everyone. But you sort of confirmed what i thought. They take a single quote that gets blown up by Fox and make it a rallying cry without actually looking at what is being done. Guns and God, Deplorables, it is quick sounds bites played over and over and I can see how that would piss folks off, especially ones who don't full pay attention to what is going on. I mean look how many people throw out Benghazi even after the 34 million investigations all say nothing could have been done and that Clinton was not to blame for anything, it doesn't matter. Private email server, she should be in jail, wait, Bush had 3 private email servers (which is illegal under the Presidential Records Act) and Colin Powell had a private server.

I think it really comes down to abortion and guns because the right certainly does nothing to support the small towns and rural areas. I really hand it to the GOP and Fox news, they really know how to spin it. The funniest thing to me, is I bet that nobody in the GOP really wants to overturn Roe v Wade. If it were overturned, I don't think the religious folks would have any reason to vote for them anymore.

The funniest part is Trump is the freakin definition of city slicker. I can't believe he was able to win the rural vote. He is the poster child of everything wrong with high class city folks.

While they did give tax breaks to help the factories move to China, GOP has been very, very good to farmers for years.
