No, we don’t get a reset. The damage will be done. The debt will pile up. Roads and bridges that were already crumbling will be falling about. Children will have suffered from more school cults. Massive debts will have been accrued. Our environment will be polluted with stuff that will take decades, maybe centuries, to clean up. That kind of thing can’t be reset.

"I'm pretty sure I didn't mention the Clintons" is no defense...the only alternative to the Trump's occupying the White House is the Clintons...and Mr. Clinton is by all facts in evidence a tremendous sleaze...

You can hate on the President Elect all you want, but characterizing the whole family based on your feelings about him wins you no points with me...and your telling me to "go take a walk" tells me you are intolerant of opposing points of view to yours...too bad for you this is a place where opposing viewpoints cannot be silenced, isn't it?

Depending on the state it's automatic if the difference is less than a certain percentage.

The midterms are probably going to be interesting.
On one hand you have all the career politicians in congress that are going to road block any tearing down this 'rigged system' for the Trump supporters to go after if they aren't placated by the things a republican congress will permit; you know gutting the ACA, killing the EPA, killing any climate change/pollution regs and deregulation in the name of unshackling business, etc. On the other, you have potential democrat retribution to take back congress if they can get their act together & clean out the shambles that the leadership of the party has left in the wake of this election.

When the President has sexual relations with an intern, it's sleazy. It's also an abuse of power, fraternization, adultery and reason for court martial, imprisonment and dishonorable discharge for military members (but not for the commander in chief). The argument can (and has been) made that it's not consensual when one individual holds that much influence over the other. I don't think it's a stretch to say that President of the United States is a position of power.

Your argument is still total bullshit. Bill Clinton was a sleazebag but he was impeached for lying, not for any sexual crime.

It's not comparable to Trump being taken to court for alleged sexual abuse of a minor and a multitude of pending civil court cases against him for sexual assault

On the other side of that argument, we have representatives that don't understand that it's 2016. I'm not even talking about social issues. I'm talking about people that think the Internet is a series of tubes that can get clogged.

The vast majority of our representatives are old white men that simply don't comprehend that the world now isn't the world when they were young. Some of them probably think motorized car windows are magic.

If you're going to legislate the world we live in you should know the world we live in.

Still sad that his supporters seem to believe every lie about HRC and none of the truth about Trump. We'e been duped and they've always seen the truth. Pathetic is the better word.

Good luck to us all. I don't agree with Trump on any policy. The names being thrown about for his cabinet scare the crap out of me. The man has no sense of how to govern, only a proven track record of using every resource available to run away from his problems...again and again and again and again ad infinitum.

Why would anyone think one of the most self-important tycoon types our nation has to offer would do anything for anyone other than his cronies is beyond me. He is not up to the task. I just hope Pence uses what has been suggested will be his unique level of power as a VP in a responsible way. The GOP were the ones shutting down the government and blocking every piece of legislation they could for the better part of the last eight years. The foundation of almost all of their campaigns has been undoing the horrors of Obama (all baseless), but nothing to move the country forward.

And Trump's victory makes it okay to be openly prejudice. It started with his first big attack on the Mexicans and has only grown. It will be commonplace to hear people disrespect every aspect of anyone or anything they see publicly. That's a huge plus for everyone!

We are almost all from immigrant families, many of the original colonists trying to find a place where they could freely practice their faith. So the hypocrisy of Trumps followers was exposed in the Mexican claims and the Muslim promise.

Hate literally won the 2016 election. Hate o HRC, hate of "foreigners", hate of religion, hate of common decency, hate of different ideas that some can't stand or understand...just fucking hate. Justify it and Trump all you want, but that's the reality. A return the classic idea that a RICH OLD WHITE MAN can solve all our problems...especially after the mess of the Obama years, because they have been objectively horrible for everyone.

Again good luck to everyone...hope none of us (or our employers) are on Trump's enemies list.
