That he was being over the top to illustrate a point and that now the dust has settled he realizes how deep he is in and does the right thing. If not, it is going to be hard to come back from these next 4 years.

We complain that elected officials break campaign promises. Well, here are his campaign promises. As reprehensible as they are, if he doesn't get #1 and #2 done, then we'll know he's just like every other politician. And you'd better believe his supporters will be mad if he doesn't deliver.
