Hey look...you can sit there and blame the stupid American people, or you can blame a completely broken political party system that presented the voters with no clear choice...

The people built, support, and maintain the system. The system isn't some creature from without menacing us. It's a golem of our own making. So yeah, blame the stupid American people--because that's us and we did this thing. And most likely some people we don't know in some poor place we don't understand will die because we keep doing the dumb thing because it makes us feel "yuge."

Which is not a problem that was gonna go away with the election of HRC either. This whole thing is a soul sickness. It's a thing we do. We are not victims of a system or a media or whatever. We are the creators, enablers, and drivers of this whole gross thing.

Fuck the Democratic party for backing one of the most corrupt, despicable, and untrustworthy people in political history...

And fuck the Republican party for not finding one decently intelligent person to run against a megalomaniacal piece of shit...

I've said it before, I'll say it again...having to chose between "the lesser of 2 evils" is having no choice at all...

The American people are the ones that built and maintained this system. Blaming 'the system' is way too easy, you are part of this system and part of it being what it is. There's enough other options, but if people keep telling themselves and acting like there's none it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

If you thought 2016 was fucked up, wait until 2017! messedup0
The global stock exchanges will "celebrate" Chancellor Trump with a bang today. :fan:

All red states will now have the suffix, "-tucky". I'm looking at you, Pennsyl-tucky.

Vodka imports from Russia increase tenfold as it becomes the official national drink of the people.

Will be interesting to see the Mexican wall being built and NATO getting a good telling off, and and and

On the plus side, Trump is the most likely President ever to let us all know if there are aliens and what happened at Roswell etc. Hurrah!

Actually, it's pretty fair to blame the stupid American people. Don't blame the system.

"Fuck the Democratic party for backing one of the most corrupt, despicable, and untrustworthy people in political history..."

Is there actually any proof of this, or is it just lies and slander from the Trump camp that made millions believe this? Again, leave it to the stupid to value possibly suspect email correspondence higher than sexism, racism and xenophobia

I never thought things would go this bad this quickly.

Evan Bayh lost to the same Tea Party dick weasel that won last time, the reds have replaced our superintendent of schools with their school waiver toting candidate which will suck for every teacher in the state. I thought we were finally done with the pasty faced science denier who tried to make homophobia legal in Indiana and now he's our VP? I can only imagine the 17th century monsters that will be appointed to the Supreme Court.

The 80/90 toll road was sold off to a private contractor for 99 years and has already changed hands 3 times. Those who think we only have to survive the next 4 years have no idea how much of our country can be dismantled and sold off to the highest bidder in that time. And unfortunately the same people clogging up the line at 7-11 buying scratch off tickets are the ones who've gladly voted all the same GOP senators, congressmen, and governors in to start the sale of roads, bridges, schools, social security, health care, and our futures. So fucked.

Seriously, y'all act like someone stole your birthday.

Get up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home, enjoy your family and your life. Be thankful for what you have.

Oh yeah, play some music - make yourself and others smile.

:rawk:

I'm sure this is the same point you made to the tea party folks in 2005ish.

Best post in this entire thread....

Just because we elect these politicians into office does NOT mean that we control the choices that come afterwards. "We the People" didn't create this shamble of a government....the corrupt people we put in office did. We just have to live with the consequences.
Clearly the American people are sick of it. That's why Trump was elected instead of Hilary "Same ole, Same ole" Clinton.
