i disagree. the Lindsey Grahams and Harry Reids are the problem. they are the ones refusing to compromise about anything. they are the ones saying they will stonewall any SCOTUS appointments, etc.

Harry Reid has his faults, but stonewalling and refusing to compromise are not among them. How could he have got rich from those sleazy land deals if he hadn’t been passing legislation?

On a burned out church in Mississippi.

Stay classy....

Weld is a class act. He's also a very thoughtful, knowledgeable, experienced individual. The Libertarian party should've run him instead of Johnson.

Agreed. They should've flipped the ticket with The Johnson as veep.

At least GJ is good at comedy relief.

If you didn't catch John Oliver's piece on the 3rd party candidates, it's pretty funny...actually all of their stuff on this election has been good

This whole election cycle makes me want to take that job in Switzerland. The whole thing was disgusting enough before the director of the FBI opted to go nuclear, and now I don't know what to make of it. I think no matter who wins, we all lose. What a shit sandwich.
I'm moving in with @Flamencology up in Canada (shhh, he doesn't know it yet).
I'll be sleeping in one of his pianos when vacant.

The shoulda, woulda, couldas in this election are staggering. I have no hope that the major parties will learn their lesson for the next cycle.

I don't know if I would go that far. I expect the Democrats will do away with superdelegates and, the republicans will have superdelegates for the next election.

The Democratic Party got exactly what they wanted, and exactly what the people voted for. Not much incentive for change.

So my son's in this bit of propaganda, albeit based completely on truth. He's got muslim and latino friends aplenty...

Unbeknownst to my wife or I my 12 year-old went to Hillary's site and wrote a letter about the ACA and how his heart condition makes him think about those kids whose healthcare from the ACA. Further he mentioned that repealing ACA would essentially allow insurance companies go back to rejecting claims based on pre-existing conditions...and we all know they will if given the opportunity.

We didn't find out about until he told us that he got an email from Hillary's people asking if he could be in a video. We were super skeptical and cautious, but everything checked out. You'll note that the premise that they went with did not go for the aforementioned angle. My dad, who works in media, said the following when I mentioned how they didn't do what they said would: "yeah, they make commercials, they always lie about what they're going to do."..meaning people that make commercials (which he a did a ton of in a previous iteration of his career).

Enjoy...or not.
