What are you listening to right now?

Right now Will Calhoun's (Living Colour Drummer) Life In This World disc, specifically his take on Naima.

I interrupted listening to this though:

These to unknowns are pretty decent...they might have a career to look forward to. :thu:

Temple of the Dog

I'm grumpy and it's helping.

I love that album...it's the best thing to come out of the whole notion of "grunge" for me. I hesitated to buy it immediately after it came out because I don't care for Pearl Jam and Eddie's voice in particular. The album, however, is dominated by Cornell's awesomeness as a singer and writer. Matt and the guys from Pearl Jam do an excellent job backing him...some of the best work from all involved. While I can see what you're saying, it wouldn't be my grumpy go-to music....not that it's bad that it was yours given your current state of grumpitude (which I hope has passed since yesterday).

Alice in Chains - The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here
A better offering than their previous album, Black Gives Way To Blue.

Beth Hart And Joe Bonamassa - Seesaw
Not as good as their first album and her vibrato really messes up a few songs.

I've been on a Black Keys kick lately... The "Brothers" album and El Camino, both great albums IMO... If you're into that whole stripped down modern blues sort of thing.

On the way in to work today I heard "King of the World" by First Aid Kit. First time I'd ever heard it. Fell in love immediately.

I've been listening to "The Specials" channel on iHeartradio at work. Nice mix of Ska and other roots-rock-influenced music.

I've been having some Doors in the car this week. And I've been keepin my eyes on the road, my hands upon the wheel.

What ever the iPod plays! Started it on shuffle in March and I have 46 songs to have played the entire catalog I currently have loaded which is 1218 songs.
