What are you listening to right now?

Driving up to PA to see him tomorrow for the first time...woot.

Youtube is blocked at work but I looked up the URL... I'll see you there! I scored a last minute center orchestra ticket on Craigslist for face value, if the guy doesn't rob and rape me in a back alley instead I got lucky!

This morning it was two or three back-to-back listenings of Gotye's Somebody That I Used to Know. Then the rest of the commute was Raul Malo's Today album, but with multiple listenings of Every Little Thing About You (great guitar solo on the studio version), and then several live versions on YouTube. The live one's included one with Raul on acoustic and his keyboard player on a small accordion (another great solo, but on ACCORDION!?!) and then a SXSW 2009 live performance with his full band with a great keyboard, then sax, then trumpet, and finally guitar solo (by Raul!...I didn't know he was a lead player which isn't surprising considering some of guys that played int he Mavericks).

Raul has an insane voice and his band members are all killer musicians.

Can't listen yet, but just ordered George Harrison Live in Japan. He is backed by Eric Clapton and his band. The CD from Amazon also comes with free download, so I will download it at home and put it on my MP3 player. :hippie:

You inspired me to get this. As a fan of George, I can't believe I've never owned it.

I should have the disc when I get home. I did download it to my MP3 player - if I can find the connector I'll play it through the car radio on the way home. Better than hearing folks on the radio get bent out of shape about the weather, which is the only news here.

A student is working on the first half of "For The Love of God" since he just received his first locking term. :)

This song on repeat...can not fucking wait until the 25th when the album's finally released. :embarrassed:
Killer band and Alan Parsons in the control room, yeah I'm ok with that.
