What are you listening to right now?

The new Voivod album "Target Earth" Excellent :rawk:

They're a weird bad to me. Sometimes I like what they do and other times I find them unlistenable...which is generally more about liking some songs and not others. Part of what I have engrained in my mind about them was seeing them headline a show at L'Amours in HS with Faith No More and Soundgarden opening. Voivod was actually good, but Faith and Soundgarden were on another better level.

I'll check out the new on Spotify later though.

Their first two albums "War and Pain" and "Rooooaaaarr!" are pretty much unlistenable for me, just noise with zero melody. But, starting with "Killing Technology" I think they became really interesting, more proggy and melodic. The run from "Dimension Hatross" through "The Outer Limits" was very influential for me.

Possibly Elias Graves' uncle Jack

Christopher Parkening. i've never listened to him before, but have seen his name for years on those classical methods.

I listened to the better part of the new one on Friday at work. Definitely better than anything I remember. There were some very aggressive punkish moments that mixed well with the proggish stuff.

That's a goodun'. I really like their acoustic EP too.

As for me, I'm trying to decide which of these two versions I like better:
