I seem to recall that with the whole Paisley Underground scene, and her Ric is pretty similar to the famous John Lennon Ric I think…not sure of the main differences. I liked quite a bit of the Paisley Underground stuff, I was pretty into The Three ‘O Clock when Arrive Without Traveling was released. I recently re-learned this one for fun:I love Mazzy Star and all that deserty goodness (Calexico is very desert too). Thinking about Rics and Mazzy Star: one of my favorite Rics is the Susanna Hoffs tribute model
Did you know that David Roback from Mazzy Star and Susanna Hoffs were BF and GF and their first band was together?

That really has the ideal specs I’d love too, the bucker in the bridge (also a la’ Fogerty w/ his PAF) but especially the extended scale length. The cosmetics are gorgeous…I’d love one at the right price, maybe Ric will reissue it someday.Hell yeah! The Three O'Clock have so many good songs. I particularly like 'I Go Wild', 'Jetfighter', and 'Cantaloupe Girlfriend'. I think I like pretty much all the Paisley Underground bands. I also really love how those bands are so positive when they talk about one another. They seem like a friendly family.
The Su Hoffs Ric is one I'd want if I won the lotto. What differentiates it from the John Lennon is it has a full-size neck (24 3/4 scale) vs. the John Lennon short 20 3/4 scale; it has sharkfin inlays; it has 2 toasters and a humbucker in the bridge position vs. three toasters; it has checkerboard binding; and it has an R tailpiece rather than the trem.
