Jackson Brown: Running on Empty

I was on the road this morning coming back from camping.

I had been at about 7000 feet and it was maybe 48 with a constant 15-20 mph wind. light dusting of snow overnight and 25 this morning ( Sonny got me up two hours before sunrise of course) so I was hungover standing by the fire to keep warm. I had plans to make breakfast but all i could muster up was a super strong cup of coffee via the backpacking butane strove...

Which leads me to Jackson Browne....
Once back in the lowlands of the desert I pulled onto a side road to take a shite (thanks coffee) and that's when I decided to change my tune ....to Jacksone Browne's Running on Empty and gaw damn if that's noty one of the finest albums ever....The transition from You Love the Thunder to Cocaine is awesome....complete yin/yang !
