Tailpiece is a shade too much to the right.

Yep. I guess I cut something a bit crooked. When I had the tailpiece mounted on center, the strings ran off the fretboard almost on the bass side. Had to move it like 3/16".

Which means that the center seam doesn't follow the strings now.
I can live with 3/16" off center but the visual of that line may drive me nuts.
Thinking about going paint shopping.
 
I tracked it down. Looks like I cut the top crooked rather than installing neck that way.
That's good, meaning the strings run the actual center line but the center line on my top is out askew on the treadle.

Just move the tailpiece and bridge to align with the neck as best as you can and don't worry about the bookmatch line.

Yeah I already did that. Moved the tailpiece about 1/4". Strings line up with the neck now, but that puts the center line of the body off. It works, just trying to decide if I can live with it.
 
In theory, this should work. :grin:
