Dig it. I got the little fretboard overhang cut and the top slid fully into, um, position.
That filler is basswood. Ill have to figure out what to do with the coloring there. I may cap it or I might hit it with a Sharpie. :grin:

Man, these construction pics are gruesome, aren't they?
It's funny how all this crap comes together to make a piece.
You have to have an eye for the end product to see through these intermediate steps. They look ugly.

And weight currently with back, top and neck is 5 lb 15 oz. That's 2700g to the rest of the world. In good shape to stay under 8 pounds. (3,500g)
