Common misfit
The ding.
It needs a story. They'll never know...
It needs a story.
I'm remembering something about a bunch of hookers in Clovis, NM.
I thought it happened in Winnipeg...?
I don't even wanna know the rest of that story...
Sneaky and ingenious?
More like "desperately seeking a solution to a problem that wouldn't have occurred with better planning."
Speaking of which, I'm down to a point where I need to inventory what's left.
Most of that centers around when do I set the neck?
Once I do that and install the top, there's no more access inside.
I need to:
Drill a hole for the tailpiece ground wire
Finish sanding, staining and varnishing the interior
Install the bridge block
Install a splint over the inside seam in the top
Set the neck
Install the top
Now, here's where I have pause. I don't have pickups yet and can't cut for them until I do. Since they are dogears, will it matter if I don't have access to the inside? I can cut those holes later and be ok?
I'm thinking of setting the neck but not gluing the top down. I can fit the top and there's no reason I HAVE TO have the top glued on even to install the tailpiece...it attaches to the body. Perhaps I should leave the top loose until the very end.
