This is glorious music. You may disagree, but be prepared to face my wrath.

I like it. I had a few Ornette albums a while back (Dancing In Your Head, Virgin Beauty and a live in Sweden thing).

...even if you think of it as fiction? (it is really)...I think its a good film for people who have no interest in classical music at all...theres drama, mystery, betrayal...and some good tunes...

Yeah, only if I think of it as fiction. I am really not the sort of person who has a problem if a movie/novel/play is factually or historically incorrect.

Hi! :embarrassed:

So much disinformation here!

And I do know jazz fans who've jumped in with Ornette or Zorn or whoever, and worked their way back to Ellington; Pascal at GJ is a great example of that.

Actually, I started with Larry Carlton.

True story. :embarrassed:

And then late Miles, earlier electric Miles, then some more raunchy/free stuff, and then only back to the roots.

Pascal is also a great musician

LIES!

and very knowledgeable.

MORE LIES!!

There is one thing I know, though: Ornette is God.

some folks may not agree (and they'd be so wrong that it should hurt), but it's a FACT that Twisted Sister is one of the five greatest rock acts ever.

The only album of theirs that I ever owned was Stay Hungry.

I LOVED it.

Of course, I was like 10 years old. :embarrassed:

in junior high, they were my favorite band. If they didn't dress like clowns, they would have gotten much more respect. Stay Hungry was a great album.
