You Americans probably don't hear this everyday from a European socialist boogeyman such as myself, but I've found out that the USA is actually a very cool place. At least, NYC is. I didn't see the rest of the country.

I like a lot of places in the US.

NYC isn't representative, either way.
 
I think it's an amazing place. I've never been so overwhelmed from just being somewhere. I saw some great sights; the Museum of Modern Art, the view from the Empire State Building, the skyline views from the Brooklyn Bridge and from the Staten Island Ferry at dusk, Times Square, etc. Had some good food, including the proper NYC stuff like pizza and bagels, met and hung out with some locals. A great holiday, all in all. I think I'm moving to NYC to become a taxi driver.

I'm usually there once or twice a year.

Food, music, theatre, museums/galleries, I'm happy.

Those are the good things in life. :)

I'm already thinking of where to go next year. Berlin would be cool. Sevilla would be great as well... or perhaps a bit farther away; I'd love to visit Argentina.

I ended up going home and taking her from my wife who had been holding her for hours. I had the 10pm-2am shift, she took her back until 5 or so and we just got up a few minutes ago from an uncomfortable night of sleeping in a chair.

Its my favorite city. I'm not very well traveled but NYC makes me happy on many levels. It also reminds me of how much I dislike LA :embarrassed:

I could pass for having an Italian heritage, if I said "foggedaboudit" a lot. I guess I could sell bagels or hot dogs.

I had to wear one for my sister's wedding (she married a Sikh)..so I'm sure I could manage. :embarrassed:

I am sorry to say I've never actually been to NYC..but we are planning on a trip there around about March time. :love:

I wouldn't take it off if you are planning on seeing San Diego or Santa Barbara or even San Francisco. LA is not all it's cracked up to be IMO. And I think it's worth seeing once, but it ranks pretty low on the list of cities I've actually been to. Just about Phoenix, I think :tongue:

I've heard San Francisco is really nice.

Mojo. I know taking care of a baby is hard. Especially when you got your own business and everything.
 
Relax, watch some videos. I'll start jogging again in a couple weeks, i'm letting some pounds drop off first. :embarrassed:
 
I'm actually going home early. might even see my kids while they're awake on a week night :)
