The Thread for Night Owls, West Coasters, Early-Rising Europeans, etc.

I'm listening to Neko Case and getting my room cleaned up since I've got the new bed and mattress coming around 11. There were more empty beer bottles than I thought. :embarrassed:

I am drinking coffee and browsing chat boards....Sorry about your situation Bernie.
Some of the paintings were kind of neat. :embarrassed:

My sleeping schedule is all out of whack, though. But I always had a problem going to be before 1 AM, I guess, regardless of what was going on the next day. But without work or school or any real reason to get up, I tend to go to bed around 5-7 AM and then get up around 1 PM and feel like a failure.

That was my sleeping schedule for about a decade, but my work hours then were 8:embarrassed:0PM to 4:30AM.

Now a days when I have to stay up until 3 or 4AM, like the next two nights because of gigs, it's a lot harder than it used to be....

Woke up early this morning, so I had a soy yoghurt while I cranked Gamma Ray's Heading for Tomorrow album. That's a great way to start the day, especially when you've got eight hours of work ahead of you.

Listening to Balmorhea and writing a story.

I need to exercise more or something, this is bullshit. I woke up at 8am after maybe five hrs of sleep, I wasn't tired all day, and it's now 2:40am and I'm still not tired.

I'm hungry as hell but I already did my teeth cleaning routine and I don't want to do it again. :embarrassed:

got up at 5:embarrassed:0, already walked the dog. It was a bit nippy but good.

Went to bed after 12 because prof decided (via email late on Monday) we should read 30% more of this boring textbook than on the syllabus -- monkeywrenching my other homework plans and sending the whole "Ooh...I'm on schedule" thing into a tailspin. Got up at five...left for work at six...because I gotta be into work early so I can leave early so I can go to this class and pretend to be attentive to the PPT version of the boring textbooks I just read...
