The second BS thread that Mark forced us to create.

Every time I eat a McD hamburger/cheeseburger I regret it later. I am damn close to being a vegen.

As far as drinking - you guys are amateurs. (Well - maybe not all.) Waking up in Detox, and making a phone call to your office that you will not be into work that day - that is the mark of a pro.

In Sheltie News: Skye, our Sheltie Rescue dog is doing really well in the house. We leave him alone in the house with the other Sheltie, Molly, during the day. Mrs Woody's sister comes in around noon to let them out. No problems for over a week now. The only behavior trait we have to work on, is Skye chews on furniture when he is frustrated or gets bored. No real damage yet. Except I had to buy a new netbook charger.

New job is going quite well. In less than a month I got a raise and a promotion.

Sliders are called sliders for a reason.

And musicians coming home from their gigs, who would probably fit into at least one of those categories :embarrassed:

My grand dad was a career cop who retired as a captain would tell us, "Nothing good happens after midnight."

My parents said that to me endlessly growing up. It just made me want to stay out late and see what was so awful.

Here.

Breathtaking view coming in - once we got under the clouds . The Quality Inn the mystery travel agent booked me into is the wrong one - they booked me near the airport, instead of the one downtown, where the technician I am relieving was staying . How could the travel agent blow it this badly? This one is one notch above shithole status, and I am waiting for a confirmation that my hotel gets switched. I will probably have to stay here for the night.

Waiting for taxi to take me Enterprise downtown, then I have to go to the other hotel to pick up parts, then go say hello to my customer. Sometime within that period, I'm actually gonna have lunch :embarrassed:.

Skye only does that furniture bitting thing when we are here. I think it is a behavior to get attention. It works.

I hardly ever drive at night anymore. The last time I did during the week is when our frig stopped working. I drove out for some ice to try to save some food. All I can say it is a different world after 9 pm on a week night. I did not want to talk to anyone I saw. Just get the ice and get back home.

Just got word that my buddy is making me some black tea infused Jameson and some coffee infused bourbon. You've got to see these things. He ages the bottles and does a new label on them. Its pretty spectacular. The guy has talent. I'll post the pics when I get them.

Morning.

STILL trying to get relocated to another hotel closer to where I am working (and everything else for that matter). This travel agency my regional manager used (for whatever reason) is the picture of incompetence; and now they are saying that the hotel is pushing back on issuing a refund for the reservation. Bullshit. If I have to stay at this place for two more weeks, I'm gonna go crazy.

Anyhoo, with all that being said, it's

Yikes. When I traveled as a trainer for Wamu we booked everything ourselves and put it on our company cards. So much easier. I don't envy your fiasco.

I did the same thing when I worked for a large bank. I remember being sent to Seattle for a week to work on a project. Due to a convention, the only rooms that were available were suites at the Four Seasons. That was a rough week. They had us stay over a Saturday to save on airfare. So I spent the week and weekend at the Four Seasons on the companies dime.
