He's a dude from the US that played on a Canadian team that up until this year didn't stand a chance of ever winning the cup..

He got traded to The Pens at a crucial time and bought in and PULLED HIS WEIGHT...

The Sharks goalie Jones was the MVP, but they only give it to the losing team (goalie) if it goes 7. Crosby was the best player even though he didn't get a lot of points. He was dangerous pretty much every time he was out there.

Murray was not that good. He looked better than he was because of the lack of shots from the Sharks. Flip the script and Sharks likely win in 4.

I'd upload pictures for you but apparently you can't do that anymore (yes I went to the game and saw the cup skated around....and I went for free :) )
 
Congratulations to Pittsburgh.

I'm disappointed in San Jose's performance (namely Joe Thornton, though his beard was magnificent), but have to give credit where it's due, they were thoroughly outplayed.

And while I am not a fan of Crosby (he'll probably always be a whiny, diving punk-ass bitch to me), again.....give credit where it's due.
He played great, and is truly a generational talent.

So, there you go.

Congratulations to Pittsburgh, and congratulations to Crosby.

In the Stanley Cup playoff hunt, nothing is given, everything is earned.

The best team won.

The cup is coming to my town this summer and I'll get to rub elbows with Sid again...

I do hope you get to see/meet him again this summer. I know that's a big deal for you.

Sid's a generational talent, no question about it. I don't care for some of his tactics/antics, but there's no denying his skill and talent.

Again, enjoy the victory today.

Upon 2nd watching I must admit that the SJ fans some what ruined the celebration..

The Pens should have lost this one on purpose so they could win it at home in front of long standing true fans of the game...
