Sweetwater has Martin acoustic strings BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE. I just ordered a two sets of custom lights bronze for 5.99. I've never seen acoustic strings that cheap.
 
Got an E mail GC is closing out their Mesas.

As you are aware, we've been closing out our Mesa Boogie inventory for the past couple of months. The time has come to clear our amp floor of Mesa Boogie completely. During our End of Summer clearance sale, all Mesa Boogie amps will be at ridiculous prices. Some units will be at, or even below, cost. And I mean WAY below cost. For example, Mesa Boogie Stiletto 4x12 cabinets for only $299.97 (were $1058.00), Triple Rectifier heads for $1499.97 (were $2099.00) and Express 5:50 1x12 Combos for only $699.97 (were $1399.00).
Please make sure your customers know that not every deal will be available in every location. Since these are closeout prices, we cannot make any substitutions or accept any rainchecks. This is a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED situation and inventory is not the same in every store, so please consult the clearance list that has been provided to see exactly what you have available.
This is an unprecedented sale and it's unlikely that your customers will ever see new, warrantied Mesa Boogie amps at these prices ever again.

Also, Transatlantic TA-15 heads are going for IIRC $629 in-store.
 
Today, MF is doing "Scary Deals of the Hour" instead of SDOTD.

If it's like the last hourly sale on Labor Day, it won't be worth bothering...
 
Sadly most GC stores never sold Mesa product to begin with because Mesa limits the number of dealers in any area and would not let GC compete with existing retailers. Otherwise I would be waiting for the Manhattan store to open right now.

Right now they have some Chinese fuzz box on sale for $40. Snorrrrrrre…
 
Those that must not be named has a great sale on their 3010SE line. These are LP copies with decent alnico pickups and ebony fret boards. I have one. It's a great guitar. Especially for $225. Get one.

I couldn't help but do it to somewhat replace my departed Sig T. My credit card is about ready to end it all :(.

Call stores around the country on the phone. They will ship, sometimes for free.

Mine arrived today. I haven't even plugged it in, yet, but I gotta say I wholeheartedly agree.

Maybe I'll do a NGD thread tomorrow :idea:
 
Musicians Friend has the sunburst Blacktop Jazzmaster for $349.99 in the newest catalog. It's on the inside back cover of the October issue. Catalog #1310T. It's still $499 online, so you'll have to call in to get that price.

They also have the Jaguarillo in Candy Apple Red for $599.99 (regularly $799.99).

Pretty good deals on a few offsets! :)

They are honoring that price for the Jazzmaster. I just ordered one. But you have to call in to get the deal.

Seriously, though -- every time the SDOTD is something actually decent, it's always sold out before those of us in the correct coast get up...

Maybe tomorrow MF will have one of the other finish's as the SDOTD, the Inca finish is very cool, the white looks great with a pick guard swap.
