That Seedy Table In The Dark Corner Where The Reprobates Gather

Typo, or Freudian slip?

Droid spelling correction.

Jello - feeling a bit deflated as I have not gotten an offer from a couple interviews I did before Christmas. I still miss Lamb and Leah. But such is the way of life. On the upside, I have a job w/ some job security, and the wife is getting around w/out a cane.

Woody, it's candy apple red. Totally stock. It was a floor model at Best Buy when they were having their blowout sale. So it's basically new but with some minor scratches from being a floor model. Nothing serious. Honestly, I like it quite a bit. But I like my partscaster more. And I only need one good Tele.

I just sent you a PM.

But I'll sell it for $325 shipped via PP gift. I'll include a gig bag. I have a nice Musician's Friend bag for it.

What up folks? Watching some Big Bang theory with the rug bug while the wife is out with some friends.

Actually did like a half hour of practicing today; got one riff down out of many for the song I'm trying to do for the recordingfest.

Morning

PK - Let me stew on that. I really did like the Reactor I had. I want to research those.

EG - I remember your Bro plays in a band.

So I recently bought very used Laney LC15R - but the reverb does not work. I can see wires broken off inside the tank. I know this local guy that works on Amps as a side line. He says he can do surgery on it. I had hoped to take the Laney out to him this morning - but timing will not work. It would have to happen later this afternoon, but there is freezing rain coming - it may not happen at all.

In dog news: I might have mentioned this 4 yr old White German Shepherd that was at a local Shelter. He was there because his owner died. He had been at the shelter for a couple weeks - and I was thinking (although a long shot as my wife does not want a 100 lb+ dog) we might check him out. I saw last night he got adopted. I am very happy he got a forever home.

Time to think about lunch.

Morning.....

Woody, wires broken at the tank should be an easy fix. The reverb on the LC15R sounds good but is really subtle.

I don't know what I'm going to do today. I've been really stressed out with work and junk at home. I have no energy today.

It would be easier to post pics - but I can see where two wires broke right as they go into this really small connector. According to my fix it guy - those little connectors (jacks) are not made any more. But he thinks he can do "micro surgery" and pull out the stubs of the wires that were left in the connector, and reuse them. I tried to open up that plastic connector, but for the life of me, could not open up the connector. My tech must have some tools that I don't. Or better skills on such things. Or both.

That, and so much more. Time to hire more mods. Oh, you meant the MWGL version. :)

It would be nice to get a Great Deals Thread going over here. The GD at HCEG has been dead - just a few posts pretty much by one individual. I am thinking the regulars that used to post there have not found a home yet. I have PM's out to a few of them. Maybe I could ask them to come over here if I get replies. I'll let you guys know if I get replies.

Are there any rules for it? SHould I just post a thread and call it the "Good Deals" thread?
 all!

I had an offer this week to upgrade from the "lite" to the full version of EZ Drummer for $29.99 - either by download or by mail; it ends this week - go to the Toontrack site for details :).

EDIT: it may have been targeted to me since I already had the "lite" version; YMMV.

worth it, I think.

You guys might have missed this so I'll share my new acquisition: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/showthread.php?44084-NAMM-jam-tidbit-3-something-for-me-)

Telecaster911 here on the forum built me a guitar and brought it out for NAMM :)

Crap. The Gibson 57 Classics that I wanted to put in my Carvin won't work. 57 Classics have long legs. I need short legs. Decisions, decisions....

I saw that guitar on facebook Mark. Blew right past it, didn't even notice it in the little pic. HNGD

Hi Jerry.
