It would be nice to get a Great Deals Thread going over here. The GD at HCEG has been dead - just a few posts pretty much by one individual. I am thinking the regulars that used to post there have not found a home yet. I have PM's out to a few of them. Maybe I could ask them to come over here if I get replies. I'll let you guys know if I get replies.

I had an offer this week to upgrade from the "lite" to the full version of EZ Drummer for $29.99 - either by download or by mail; it ends this week - go to the Toontrack site for details :).

EDIT: it may have been targeted to me since I already had the "lite" version; YMMV.

So the visit from Sheltie Rescue woman went fine - but she was older and it took her a long time to get thru her stuff. I had Sasha on a leash the whole time. But we both survived. The woman is giving us the gold stamp - next step is they meticulously match us up with a dog - and the do have a few dogs available.
 
Good afternoon all. I ended up using my partscaster Tele for class today. That guitar really works well for Dinosaur Jr. And it's lighter than the Jazzmaster. The fret ends were sharp in it though. I had to be careful or I would have shredded my fingers. I dropped it off at the shop for a setup and to have the fret ends filed. I really like that Tele. And it was a fun project.
