I'm sitting here waiting for the repair guy from the phone company. Our Internet has been really bad the last few days. We had a tech out three times already and all three left telling my wife it was our router. I made sure I was home today so that won't fly. I already feel bad for the guy walking into the house of an engineer for a major phone company trying to fix his phone service. Oh we'll I've told them three times what the problem is so they could quickly fix it and they chose to be lazy and point fingers rather than put the time in to diagnose and fix.

Saturn. I now you are in the business but home equipment might be a little different. We were rebooting our router about once a day. Some one told us home routers only last a couple years. We replaced our router about 6 months ago, and have not had any more problems. Just sharing my experience with this.

I decided that today was a NGD. I picked up this MIM Tele at the Best Buy clearance sale with the intention of flipping it. Today I decided that I can't build one of this quality at the price I got it at. So I'm keeping it. I took a look at the electronics today. I was shocked to find 50's style wiring with 250k CTS pots. I pulled the stock ceramic pickups and put in a set of Wilde (Bill Lawrence) pickups that I had laying around. I also swapped the bridge for a Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles. I really prefer 3 saddle bridges on Teles. One of the pics below has a flash. The other has no flash.

PK. Glad the tele worked out for you. I thought about it, but if I get another Tele, I think it will be another Reactor.

Nope no different than anything I work with every day. I already bypassed the router. I have also logged into the modem and checked line attenuation and signal to noise. There is a definite line issue somewhere between me and the CO. I'm guessing bad pairs at the PED. I'd fix it myself but they are a little touchy about non-employees cracking open thier peds.

Yup. I snagged the Tele and the HH Jaguar. I sold the Jag at enough of a profit to almost pay for the Tele. I don't get along well with short scale guitars.

Bob, I am definitely not looking forward to the weather. Going from 60s one day to near zero the next night does not sound promising, not to mention the two inches of rain in between.

Weather wise. We were supposed to get freezing rain last night. We got some, but mostly got snow. Just enough to make thongs pretty.
