It's a conspiracy!

My father in law called yesterday. He has more walnut AND more tools to give me! Woot!
Looks like road trip to Wichita tomorrow.

Didn't get to spray that primer last night. Took a little more time cleaning the binding up thanI thought, but the shellac surface looks beautiful> By far the best undercoat I've had on there. Maybe this time there will be some progress. I hope to have the gold on by Sunday.

Do you know what frets Al put on your tele? Small vintage or newer jumbos?

So I finally decided to order a Jazzmaster. It's a Squier VM model. Level 4 used from MF. From what they tell me it has a bad neck pickup and some minor scratches on the body. $110 shipped. If the neck is bad I can put on the Carvin Strat neck.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Well that didn't work out. It ended up with a backorder. Someone else got it before I did. But I got them to give me a brand new one for $199. Not that I need another guitar. But that's a decent deal.

So, a guy in uniform comes strolling out of the Azalon hair salon and gets in the army truck and drives off.
I guess ending that don't ask/dont tell has worked out OK.
