Are you talking about the blackhawks game? Yea, it was amazing.. right out of the penalty box and into history. My sharks are still breathing..but their sitting in the shallows and may run out of water....

'Afternoon Ladies & Gents!

When I said I was tired in my last post, I turned out to be REALLY tired! I slept almost 11 hours! I have to do some housecleaning, and grocery shopping. So I'm just checking things out, and then it's out the door for me! I'd leave now, but Sarah, my boneheaded black kitty is curled up in the space between my arms at the present time, with her head on one of my arms, purring up a storm. So, I just don't have the heart to interrupt her happiness. Hey what can I say?! We spoiled the dogs when I was a kid, and nowadays, I spoil my cats! Sugar is curled up in the cat tunnel, or one of the cat cubes, taking a nap.

Ken, aren't dental issues something! You take care of one thing, and then something else pops up! I have a similar situation. 30 years ago, I was in a car accident that resulted in me taking a blow to the mouth. Since that time, over $7000 has been spent dealing with dental issues that have been a result of this accident. First it was a cap on one front incisor in 1980. Then in 1997, the other front incisor started dying off, and it had to get pulled, and a dental implant put in. In 1999, one of the lower front teeth started going bad, requiring a root canal. 2 that years ago that same lower tooth cracked bigtime, so it and the tooth next to it (which was also going bad), had to be pulled, and I wound up having to get a bridge put in. I'm still paying off the 401K loan I took out to cover the cost of the bridge!

Throw in the fact that I had braces from the time I was 13, till i was 16 (I had a HUGE overbite - you could stick your index finger up in the space betwen my upper and lower teeth, when my jaw was closed), and 4 teeth were pulled to make room for the braces (at least I didn't have to wear a permanent retainer like some people do, after they get their braces off). Oh yeah, and all of my wisdom teeth came out at age 17 - impacted! So those were all removed (so I've had 8 teeth alone removed, purely because my mouth didn't have enough room for them). I can't help but exclaim sometimes. "what next?!, dentures?!"

It's cold and rainy here. I assume your weather's the same Monica and Scott, being that you're both just south of me in Flatland?

Holy crap! Yea.. I understand... I hate the dentist.. and love the dentist when the pain goes away. It's more fun when you dont have insurance.

Thanks. It's getting there. This was the first coat of sanding sealer. Tomorrow after that's dry, I'll hit it once more with grain filler, then more sanding sealer, then primer, then gold, then..............

Well, you get the idea.
It took maybe ten attempts to get the cutaway taped off properly. That was pretty tedious.

Hey Jerry, what are you looking for? I have a repainted Epi SG Special body I could sell or trade for pretty cheap.
The paint job is pretty decent. I have all the original parts but it's not together.

Hi SK8, EG, Ken (I got it right this time) & Jerry,

Jerry - did you check CL or ebay for you fix em's - or do you need something NOW. If I'm really bored, and can not play, I do a simple meditation or read a good book. Off and on I'm reading "Physics of the Impossible".

I saw EG's suggestion of a SG Special. That has potential. I suspect it would be a decent player - throw in some deep discount PUP (courtesy of Ken) - off you go.

I read a book entitled Zen Physics a decade or more ago. In one chapter the author talked about early 20th Century experiments on the brain citing an example of slicing a living person's brain in half (down the middle) and some of the strange outcomes, such as having them put on an oxford shirt - one hand would begin buttoning while the other would unbutton. Good stuff Maynard :thu:
