I certainly don 't think that...My thought is.....
1) he most likely killed her
2) there is a psycho sieral killer roaming the west targeting women
3) (least likely) she pulled an "into the wild" and she is living in the wilderness setting trap lines and eating berries
I believe it said the last known sighting of her was in the Grand tetons Wyoming ?. The last text/email/ or phone call was from Yosemite , CA
What I am uncleart of (will read more this evening) is whether he was with her? From what i was able to read this morning is that somewhere around the end of August i believe he went back to Florida to help his dad clean a storage unit out (hmmm) he flew.
The van was the girls and registered to her.
Then he flew bacxk I guess but that's where I'm not certain....
On one of the timline maps it says he was "to meet up with her" in Yellowstone.....but she never showed up.
So there is that 5-10 day period...was he with her or was he back in Florida? It seems like they could easily findout where the phone was and also where he was at the time by either witnesses and/or ping records from his phone because who in this day and age goes anywhere without their phone

looking at the map again this adoesn't make any sense. If they were in Grand tetons and planned to go to Yellowstone wtf would they go all the waty to California and Yosemite inbetween ;confused:

new twist....Brian has now gone missing...hmmmm. It's also more clear that he had returned to Florida with her van and was there FOR A WEEK before she was reported missing.

Turns out some other YouTubers spotted then van while touring the Grand Tetons and noticed the FLA plates cause they too were from FLA. They notified the FBI of the sighting. Word is the body was some 900 feet from that location.

yep, I was kinda following it most of the weekend cuz first he went missing and then the next day someone on reddit posted up the video those RV people took...then later just right before they broke the news "a body was found" someone noticed that as the RV was approaching the back door of the van closed...I didn't see it , later someone posted a slo mo close up and it does in fact look like the passenger car door closes, there is also a pair of flip flops just below the rear bumper. That was on Aug 27....
There was also the tik toker who said she and her boyfriend picked up a hitchhiker on the 28 (28 or 29th , can't remember). They met him on a hiking trail and he said he had been out hiking for 4 days but they noticed he didn't smell bad or look all that tired. He offered them 200 dollars for a ride back to a trailhead near Yellowstone....so this woulda been like a day or two after the van was spotted which makes it sound very pre meditated.

the van door definitely looks to be closingso anyway the timeline was that on the 30th of August Gabby's phone sent a texdt out saying "in Yosemite, no service" and clearly Yosemite is far away and not in lin e with their trip route...people mentioned that during the Moab body cam Brian accidently called Yellowstone "yosemite"
regardless that means when the van was spotted (on Friday at around 5 pm) it was right around the time he either desposed of her body or right before because supposedly the van returned to Florida on Sep 1st
I expect they find Brian soon dead b y suicide.

If it was cached and got sent when service connection was made, that would mean the timeline may be different. I don’t know how that swings the story one way or another, but it’s something that I haven’t yet seen called out.

I think the theory is supposedly it was sent after the cell got into service. I know back when I used to use the Spot location mcthingy I had it set where it would send updates every so often to my brother and /or parents and i had one sent to my email *so this was email and not text) but everytime I would get back into a service area it would notify as message received.
The real question would be "Yosemite". I could see them being in Yellowstone earlier cuz that's not far from Bridger/Teton but Yosemite is at least a two day drive and their trip timeline shows them going from Moab to Salt Lake city so if they were to go to Yosemite they woulda headed sw from Moab and not to SLC. There is also the fact on the 21st Gabby's biological father facechatted with her while she was in the S:C hotel and he sent an UBER foods for her.
On a side note THE STUPID FUCKIN FOX "news" caster ( I make a point to never watch or click fox links but made an exception here)...the fox caster last night during the breaking news REPEATADLY pronounced teton as teh Ton (teh as in tether and ton as in tongs) instead of the correct way Tee Tawn it was infuriating

I saw similar tweets relating to that but the vast majority someone just ups and goes missing one day, you can't cover them all and if there is nothing really unique...well
Once agin this was was compelling for many reasons and one is this was a very social media/youtube/influencer story and that stuff is relatively new. I remember they basically mentioned that a girl went missing and then a few days later Moab police released their bodycam footage and the story blew up.
if you just look at their instagram, tik tok and the singular video they have on youtube it looks like pure bliss and this idyllic lifestyle and the bodycam footage totally contradicts that so that's one thing...then their is a whole known storyline and timeline to follow, etc, etc vs Joeblow left work one day and tyhen was reported missing....where is a newsworthy story in that?
