Morning

I got a free huge chocolate godknowswhat at Starbucks in Hamburg a few weeks ago as although they made my drink it turns out that the cash register had closed for the night.

Result!

In completely unrelated news, German police are on the lookout for a "foreign-looking gentleman", who left Starbucks without paying for his drink.

I just read this, which made me question what it was they had put in the 'huge chocolate'

Hahahah! Nice

I don't really know why they served us as they were about to close and knew the register was closed. Seemed like students so probably thought they'd do a good deed at the expense of tax dodging bastards Starbucks.

Morning all.

I have finally seen evidence of a more expensive beer than that in Oslo. £21 a pint at the world cup!

Ha wait till they get to Qatar and Russia!

Speaking of freebies I'll meet your Starbucks and raise you a nice surprise - I was out on Saturday with the lady friend and a mate. We hit up the cocktail bar in Central Station's hotel before heading home.

Both the lady friend and my mate bought a round at just under £30 a pop.

I went up to get my round and the dude serving knows me from DJing at weddings in the hotel - gave me the round free though I did slip him a fiver and tell him to stick it in the tips.

Morning friends

Ok Ok you win with the freebie drinks. Stupid Starbucks, I knew there'd be a downside to the story.

On another note, who likes James Corden? He didn't use to bother me at all but now I find him annoying. Am I just being too choosy? His last Brits was crap.

Disappointed that the game of cricket I was supposed to be umpiring today has been weathered off.
secret0Umpires get offered far more free beers than they can possibly drink.

I don't think so. He amused me for a little while when he first appeared, but became tiresome very quickly.

It's the only way of keeping that 'sport' interesting :embarrassed:

I just misread the title of this thread as 'Return to the Planet of the Hey Euros, tits time again' :embarrassed:

We should definitely make that thread :embarrassed:

Morning!

As a man that likes tits, I can tell you that I fully endorse your efforts to get a tit thread going.

In other news, I used the wifes Ford Focus last night to transport an old sofa to its final resting place. Apparently i left the side lights on all night so a dead battery was the result this morning. So she says anyway.

Would leaving such tiny low powered bulbs running for a few hours drain a battery? Actually I hope so, the (equivalent of) AA is coming round later to sort it out. I hope its nothing serious.

Yes, it could drain the battery, but more importantly, why are you married to a wire? That's a bit weird is it not?
