Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Morning all. HSBC are cheating c*nts.

jbj - Out of interest did the headwankermaster state what they would have wanted you to talk about instead?

He kept mentioning the word strategic answers (I don't know how much more strategic you can get than outlining your experience and what you can actually bring to the job with real world examples...) which to me is group think speak for "we would have preferred a lot of buzz words for our ticky boxes"

I should have just sat down and started shouting:

ASSESSMENT IS FOR LEARNING

CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS

REFLECTIVE PRACTITIONER

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

CPD!!!!!!!

I've had a job interview like that, jbj. I later found out they already had someone in mind for the job, but had to go through the motions of interviewing others so it didn't look too obvious. Sorry about that.

Morning Whale Bones!

I could do with a new guitar myself. Sadly I also need a new car, drum kit cymbals and possibly a new fridge.

Fuck.

Morning big puddle of radioactivity approaching North America. wave0

I also am in need of a new car, my 14 year old Renault Laguna is on it's last legs wheels. It's been a stalwart for the last 8 years since I bought it as the second owner with very little to complain about but lots of little things are all starting to go wrong and it's just not going to be worth getting them fixed.

Also by bizarre coincidence, the freezer warning light on our fridge freezer has started coming on regularly for no good reason in the last fortnight so I suspect that's the way out too, plus the washing machine is grinding "nicely" so it could be an expensive time soon.

My brother has an Edwards. Great piece of gear, knocks the tits off any Gibson I've played.

That's what I have heard too. Apparently Edwards Les Pauls are made to closely resemble old 57/58 Les Pauls. Can't wait :embarrassed:

morning NI secret letter writers

My Edwards is on the way

Lovely guitar, wok!

Morning all. wave0

Three day weekend here. Hooray! Just 20 minutes till I start my 3 days off.

Really busy today. Its cack

That guitar looks lovely, get some real pics on though ASAP!

I thought we all hated gold hardware no? I don't, but I just joined in when most people say it looks bad.

It doesn't though.

Morning all

Enjoy your new guitar, wok! :thu:
We have a long weekend too; it's our wedding anniversary and mrs_huge and I are off for a few days to North Norfolk. huge_jnr is, as usual, throwing a party in our absence; the fridge seems to have been taken over by dishes of assorted gummy sweets steeping in vodka in preparation. One shudders to think...

 Yep... but better still we have a pretty long track record of returning from weekends when the 'kids' have partied to find the house in better order than when we left it. Strange but true. (Perhaps I should point out that huge_jnr is nearly 30. :embarrassed:)

... and today in the how-fucked-up-is-this? department: UKIP not bonkers much.

"The person requesting the information, who has not been named, said the timing of the swastika symbols "struck me as strange seeing as the Nazi party formed in 1933 and by March 1938 were beginning an invasion into Austria."

I don't know what's worse, this idiot or the BBC for not correcting it
