well, he is the leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party, so it's not really a surprise he is anti-English.

I think he is a twat too, but I would still vote for independence, because I think Cameron and his pals are even bigger twats. And I am not allowed to vote them out in the general elections. :embarrassed:
 
It's not quite what I mean though. It's more an underlying jealousy of something or other. I couldn't say of what but it's clear (I think) that he's doing this more for personal reasons than any love of his country.

I am under no illusion what his motivations are. I am just thinking about what would be the best option for me and the people around me. I don't trust any politician :shrug:
 
I think the 3 Westminster parties have made a major miscalculation by hectoring Scotland on not having the pound after independence. They don't understand the Scottish character at all.

Engerland: We won't join a currency union with you and that's all there is to say about it. No!

Scotland: Git it up yease yah wanky basturds.

I've always thought independence with currency union was pointless anyway. I'd rather Scotland formed it's own currency. If we're going to be independent, be independent.

I wouldn't put it past Salmond if that was his plan all along. Give the English a stick to beat Scotland with, watch them inevitably do so, and laugh with glee when Scotland reacts against it. Say what you will, he's a clever bastard.

The thing that most worries me about the prospect of Scottish independence is the seats that will be lost from the British parliament: 40 Labour, 12 Lib-Dem, 6 SNP, and 1 measly Tory. That said, if I lived in Scotland, I'd be a definite 'Yes'. :shrug:

But hey, ho chaps, let's not risk bannination. 8):grin:

That's exactly where I'm going. Me and my best friend are going to see Transatlantic play there. Second to last show of the tour as well, so the show should be really good. :)

Think I have at least 3 live DVDs that were shot at that venue btw. :embarrassed:
 
Went to see Satch as the O13 last year. Really liked the venue. The Dutch have this weird thing where you buy tokens separately then use them at the bar. It's actually pretty good as it makes the bar move faster. You just need to make sure you don't have any tokens left as you can't get a refund. There is an obvious solution :embarrassed:

He's missed a trick being born here. If he was born in some shitty little island in the South Pacific he'd have been a top notch despot.
 
Oh yeah and hai dudes.

Happy that my office is just about done. Unhappy that I now have an A2 sized wall calendar showing me that I won't have much of a life between now and the end of the Summer.

I've agreed to mark exam scripts and assignments for the SQA again in April and May after swearing I'd never do it again too :facepalm:
 
Hi all

I watched some of that. Stephen Fry is a good presenter but the rest of it was boring. Theres a limit to how many times you can watch Sandra Bullock spinning around in space.

I got my car totalled in an accident on my way to work (nobody got injured) , when I arrived home the mortgage advisor called to confirm mortgage came through successfully.
