Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

@ColourofFire - Good luck with the job.

@jbj - Nice painting. Where'd you end up staying if you don't mind me asking? We're looking at going to the North of England for our holiday this year and looking at lodges, etc.

Place called the Tranquil Otter. It's about 10 minutes West of Carlisle. We've been to loads of these kind of places over the years and this is definitely one of the nicer ones.

Couple of big wins in work today.

We go again on Monday and keep trying to change lives but I'm feeling proud tonight knowing I've made at least this weekend a bit better for some of our families.

I digress, I've got a ticket for Livingston away tomorrow. It's only 40 minutes down the motorway but the staunch bus isn't going to let minor logistics get in the way of a solid all day sesh

At the ripe old age of 38 I attended my first ever away game last month. Did my second at Livingston yesterday. Turns out the secret to not making a total arse of it is not skelping 4 pints and a bottle of tonic wine before you've worked out where you're sitting :embarrassed:

Bags of gear getting passed around before we even hit the motorway 5 minutes in. Lots of slebbering wrecks in the young team on the way home.

Was in town for a bit of shopping today. I need new Docs and only wanted the UK made ones. £220 a pair :ack: quick bit of googling and managed to find a pair of Solovair b stock that are pretty much UK made Docs with a different heel tag for £90 shipped.

Took the day off to take my car to garage to put new tyre on (Another one gone  ). Got time to work on music production and to reflect on life. I can't believe how different my life looks compared to a couple of months ago. My anxiety is really low, I don't feel like staying in bed all day, I have energy. If only it would get to a bearable temperature I would be completely happy

Caught a cold and didn’t go to work today. Nobody wants a sneezing, coughing colleague in the office is my excuse

I've had to work from home this afternoon due to a balls up with doggy day care so Lola was left at home this morning.

Apparently it's my fault (according to Mrs JBJ) but I disagree :embarrassed:

Of course it's your fault. Unless you can beat this.

Survived my first workday :embarrassed:

Having a job is still a bit shocking after 10 years or so of freelancing, but this seems very nice.

They bought me a ton of stuff to use for work (computer, phone, peripherals etc), which is nice. And they are very unbothered by working hours or WFH, as long as shit gets done, and there probably will sometimes be some periods of hauling ass to get certain projects done. First project I'm part of seems a lot of fun, and I get to do exactly the kind of stuff I love doing.
