Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Mojo mate.

My brother got fluey symptoms like that after getting his first vaccine, yoi should order a test.

i am pretty sure I don’t have Covid.
 Up to you, but I'd still get tested if the threshold is low (here you just fill out an online form and you can go same day), if only to get rid of the paranoia.

And I had waaaayyyyy to many acquaintances who were pretty sure their symptoms didn't fit and tested positive.

But of course my opinion is also rooted in the situation here and life being relatively normal here. I still see several people who all have their different bubbles "often", so I would really want to know and be able to let them know.

I haven’t been out in public for ages, but I guess it won’t hurt

How is it March already?

In another random COVID twist I've been asked to shuttle our senior kids in and out of the school all day so they can finish their coursework.

I hate passing my teaching remit over to other people, even if I'm off for a day or at training but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to getting out of the house every morning and away from a bloody google classroom screen.

I've just applied for a job in my old school too though I doubt I'll get an interview.

FECK! never noticed it was March already

Anyway, going to look at a potential new car tomorrow :thu:

Good luck.

I'm not a car person at all,I'm about 2 months away from paying mine off and I'm starting to gas for something new

Good luck, wok. There's nothing like not having a car for a week or two to make you appreciate having a car.

All students going back to school after the Easter holidays apparently.

Makes you wonder why we're bursting our pan in for the next couple of weeks to get practical subject kids in with 2m distancing. No joke, as of Monday I'm not teaching anymore, I'm driving the school minibus all day to get kids in and out of the building.

Paid deposit on new car, a 2010 Ford Focus. Picking it up on Monday *dance*

Good luck with it. One of the main benefits of a Ford is there are tons of factor parts at less obscene prices than some manufacturers.

One place website worth knowing about is Mister Auto. I've got parts there at really cheap prices at times when I've needed them. Doesn't hurt that I've used the same mechanic for the last 16 years and am good friends with him. He works as a two man band with his brother and has no problem using parts I've sourced if I can get them cheaper than his local suppliers. He was chuffed when I put him onto that website as he saved over £200 on a bit he needed for his own car!

yeah, I had a Renault Megane years ago. Even replacing a headlight bulb was stupidly expensive as to gain access to the headlight, you needed to remove the side bodypanel

Just bought a goose island ipa to try as the keg on perfect draft gets great reviews.

Cracked the first of todays football bevvys and noticed it had this on the neck @pmc100 :chow::chow::chow:

Look after it and if they didn't have service history stating when it was last done, get the cam belt changed as soon as you can afford it. :thu:

Goose Island is basically a macro brew with a craft badge at this point. They make/made it in Chicago and it’s always like the 1798th best option for something delicious. I mean, it’s fine if you’re at a ball game or a rock show and don’t wanna drink a Lite, but I can’t imagine seeking it out.

It was decent enough. I'm a lager drinker so any ale or IPA that doesn't give me the boke is fine.

Speaking of, I've got about 5 pints of Hasseroder to finish before moving on to the LaVirgien lager @pmc100 @bsman  :baimun:
