Ugh, had a bout of insomnia, my brain wouldn’t shut up all night. Had to call in sick at work, driving a taxi with no sleep is not a smart idea.

So now it’s 3pm and I am in bed hating my brain
 
I quit my part-time taxi job. It was causing me too much stress. I hated that job. Looking for a part-time evening job instead.

The shifts they were offering clashed with my uni schedule anyway, and the lockdown didn’t help
 
Taxiing sounds like a total ballache now anyway.

I totally overdid it on the wine yesterday. Vaguely remember dinner, don't remember being in the hot tub and still feeling rough. :embarrassed:
 
Had the GF's birthday, we're both isolating as she's back from a work trip to Switzerland and my corona app went off signalling possible exposure last week :embarrassed:

I got her some nice gifts, one is a co-operative boardgame, which we spent the past 2 games playing non-stop. I rented a workspace a couple of streets away, so at least I'm not spending all my days in the house at the moment.
 
Went to uni campus today, in the hope of catching my prof and to get some work done. Not only was m prof not there, the computer lab, and in fact entire uni was pretty much deserted.

Got some stuff done and went home. a bit of a waste of petrol :embarrassed:
 
Sounds like every Friday of my 2nd and 3rd year with the dean of humanities sacking off lectures.

Was a goid excuse to go to the pub as soon as it opened.

i voted for her. I don’t blame her for the closures, I blame the selfish numpties who disregarded the Covid warnings and the mask refusers. It’s a miracle I never got Covid when I was a taxi driver...


And you would say that about Edinburgh pubs as a Weegie

I've actually been slammed with work this week.
