Well it's just that I asked them a couple of questions about a guitar I was thinking of buying last Thursday around lunchtime. Got an auto-reply that they'd get back to me and haven't heard anything since. It's kind of putting me off buying from them.

I hate it when shops/companies do that... I sent an email to the shop I was thinking about buying my laptop from, they had two conflicting things in different listings of the specs, and I wanted to double check what the deal was. Never heard back from them. So the dumb fucks missed out on a sure sale by not sending a two line email telling me what's what...

If they can't be arsed with something simple like that, I don't really trust them to handle anything warranty related anymore either...
 
@irishstu - Not ordered anything from Andertons myself but I know a guy in the industry who knows the Captain.

From what I've seen I get the impression you may get a faster response on something like Facebook than email as they definitely try to look after their online image.
 
My only dealings with them was buying a rather expensive wireless Shure mic. It was meant to come with a spare battery and some other shit as a deal but didn't get those and never got a response when I chased them up. I should probably have made a bigger deal out of it.

But I digress. Just back from a few days in Inverness where it rained pretty much constantly.

Did I miss anything?

How'd my favourite education minister do with regards to our exam results up here? :embarrassed:
 
Sold my Egnater head and cab tonight. Guy has just got back saying can he come tomorrow and take the mad bastard Laney thing no one is interested in too :embarrassed:

Ooh I sold my Egnater last night. I forgot how nice it was actually when noodling about with it waiting for the guy to come but hey ho it has to go.

I made a few comments about the Laney at the same time and the guy text last night saying his son loved the Egnater and if the Laney is still available, he would take that too :thu:

No dicking about, no tire kicking - job done.

OK, so my question to Andertons (still not answered) was actually just about whether or not a specific gig bag of theirs would fit the travel guitar I wanted to buy. I really want that specific travel guitar and only Andertons and Professional Music Technology (great initialism choice) seem to sell it. They are both out of stock, but you can at least pre-order it from Andertons. So I went and ordered the guitar last night, but sod them, I'll buy the gig bag elsewhere. I did look into asking the same question on social media, btw, but I couldn't easily find a place to ask that didn't end up inconveniencing me for login reasons or whatever.

It's just such a bad way to do business. Like they don't want your money. I wish I could've bought the same guitar elsewhere.
