Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

That monthly calm when bills have been paid. School holidays mean that it’s going to be quieter at work, but I couldn’t care leas just now :embarrassed:

 £20k gross on the books. That wee prick with the bowler hat is not going to be gentle.

That's my books done (I swear NEXT year I'll keep on top of them :embarrassed: )

Thought I'd managed to get everything looking pretty nice and would get away with 2 or 3k then realised I'm now in the 40% bracket before I've even kicked a ball with the DJ stuff

GF's birthday yesterday. Had a good time visiting a museum and having Ehtiopian food after.

Also got a gig in Norway, so I'll be in Norway twice within a month :embarrassed:

When you take your car to the garage for a small engine problem, and it turns out that not only is MOT due, the small engine problem suddenly turns into a major problem. Might not even be worth fixing.

only got it 2 years ago... not even 50K miles. Can’t afford to buy a new car

Totally sympathise, wok. Mine died just under a fortnight ago. Insurance and tax were going to be up on it a week later and MOT a month or so after that, so it just wasn't worth fixing (it already had a couple of other problems, including a gearbox one). I had to buy another secondhand car in a hurry and it's got a couple of problems that I'm still trying to sort out with the dealer. Very stressful situation altogether.

My brother is actually selling his Berlinngo mpv just now that would be ideal for taxing.

Even just as a run around you can get some mad deals on ex mot ability mpvs. I got mine with less than 80 miles on the clock for about 40% of list and that was from Arnold Clark!

Until I get my mid life crisis orange mustang Gt that's what I'll be driving.

It’s been ok so far having been without car, but you don’t realise how much you depend on a car until you don’t have one.

Even going to the shop is an endeavour

Never had a car in my life :embarrassed:

Then again, I never lived anywhere without a bike or proper public transport in my life. The only times I ended up fucked for transport I wouldn't have been anywhere near legal to drive anyway.

This. All of this.

Can't wait for self driving cars to take me home after a night out. Then we shall be truly free :embarrassed:

I never had a car when I lived in Edinburgh. Unfortunately Kirkcaldy isn't so convenient to not have a car. Public transport here is shite

On holiday?

here it s sunny and quite chilly. The breeze from the forth is bone-chilling actually. I hate autumn and winter
Yeah kinda, went with the same people we traveled to Murmansk with last Februari, this time just to visit the Insomnia festival, not play there.

It's quite refreshing to just be a visitor/part of the audience for a change, I think it's been 4 or 5 years since I've last been at a festival where I wasn't either playing or involved in organising the thing.
