Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Farage is such a cock. He goes ballistic about the tone of the political debate being lowered by these sort of actions. Yes, you cunt, it was you who lowered the tone of political discourse in this country to the point where this happens.

Cunts like Farage and Boris (and Trump) are so far up their own arse they can't see the consequences of their actions. They have no concept of society so are all surprised when their poison infects it.

But... Farage is the man of the people

So I was one of the EU citizens affected by this:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-polit...s-2019&link_location=live-reporting-story

Registered in April, got confirmation. Never received the additional manual form. I phoned the register, they confirmed I registered, but I should have completed the form they sent me. THEY DID NOT SEND IT. Sorry, we are really sorry, but you can't vote.

Spoke to a polish friend f mine, she had the same issue.

It's now trending on Twitter, potentially thousands of EU citizens in the UK have been affected and are unable to vote. 'Purely accidental' :eyeroll:

Saw that on the news yesterday. Absolutely unforgivable.

Luckily my vote didn’t matter much in the end, as Scotland voted overwhelmingly pro-EU. :thu:

I see cracks appearing in the UK, with Scotland and England moving opposite directions.

Ann Widdecombe on TV 'Look at the map of the country, a sea of Brexit blue'. Hello Ann! What about Scotland?

Also, this election is proportional representation, so remain still won. Brexshite party only took all the Ukip votes and a lot of disgruntled Tories.

I stupidly stayed up a bit to watch the results coming in. Ann Widdecombe was what made me decide maybe it was time to turn the TV off. Who ARE these people that voted for people like her?

People who are easily led by demagogy and rhetoric.

This is where the media fuck everything up. They are reporting a 'victory' for the Brexit Party and that's an indication that the public are behind leaving, and even a hard Brexit. Even the BBC is framing it like that. But the remain backing parties won more votes

Essentially it was a draw, again. At least report that. The country remains split right down the middle.

Only 6 weeks before I go on holiday to Turkey. Can’t wait to get away from daily Brexit/Farage/Boris Johnson news, gliomy weather and taxi shifts

Ah, 8 days in the scorching sun with unlimited beers and unlimited bbq

Congrats. I didn’t have a favourite to win, I was happy enough Ajax got knocked out in the semis in the most painful way possible :embarrassed:

Was a really poor game. I guess it was the conditions but both teams seemed really lethargic. Given that they are the two hardest running teams in the league it was a real surprise.

I watched in a pub about two miles from White Hart Lane. Even there people were pretty philosophical about it. Didn't expect to win and recognised Liverpool are a better team. Apart from one tosser in a United shirt walking about in a particularly obnoxious manner. Alright mate, your teams shit, what's your point? :embarrassed:

I was doing a taxi shi(f)t, and the atmosphere around town was really subdued, so I reckon the match must have been pretty boring to watch. Not a lot of rowdy drunk people afterwards, which also was a sign it hadn't been all that great.

To be fair, the final would have to be fantastic to live up to the 2 semis

Yeah, Spurs never really had enough to make it a great game and Liverpool didn't really have to get out of first gear after that early penalty.
Both teams looked knackered in that heat as well.

Weird game, as both teams are normally great going forward.

As for the Utd fans, their collective meltdown these days is quite hilarious to watch. Been so spoiled over the last decades they have no idea how to deal with it.
