Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Last day in Costa Rica. Hotel has been a bit lacking in some ways but the place and people are awesome.

Totally looking forward to the 10 hour flight then driving home from Gatwick :/

Pffff, nothing worse than being starving, and having to wait on someone before you can get food.

Flew to NL this Saturday. Was in the bus to the airport, wondered why the fuck I was feeling so hot. Thermometer in the train explained why, it was 31 degrees :embarrassed:

Now I'm slowly melting away in NL, it's good seeing some people again. Doesn't feel like home anymore though.

Yeah, it’s a weird feeling when everyone speaks in your native tongue but you feel like a stranger

Roasting today, luckily only working for 4 hours in an airconditioned car.

Even though I don’t live with my daughter and her mom anymore, I was still really attached to their cat. ( see Cat mojo thread).

Today SUCKS BIG DONKEY BALLS. I think I am going to have a few beers tonight

I've been out in the garden all day doing little jobs and I'm absolutely fucking melting.

I'm gigging tonight and was starting to worry about getting sun stroke (as a bald ex-ginger, I don't have the best of luck with the sun) so I jumped in a freezing cold bath - it was glorious.

Speaking of said gig, I'm out at Carlowrie Castle in the "orangery" which is venue speak for big fuck off conservatory  Pretty sure they can't open the doors either as they're fire doors and even if they can there'll no doubt be some arse neighbour who complains about the noise any time they do. Think I best pack my tower fan :thu:

The 2 month heatwave we've had now is starting to drive me absolutely bonkers. Not built for this. :embarrassed:
Looks like we're finally getting proper rain this weekend, much needed.

If nothing else, it's a damn good excuse for drinking BEER.

Fuck my life, it's stupid hot here... 35 degrees outside... I'm staying at my parents' place, it's an old inner city warehouse. Usually it doesn't get that hot, but with temperatures being crazy for so long it's getting close to unbearable.

On the plus side, me and the GF had a great performance on Sunday, with very enthousiastic response from the audience. Had good times drinking beer and wine with the other artists' in the show after.

Well, rain and thunder this weekend, so it now looks like a typical Scottish summer.

Blech, doesn’t hwlp my mood

Same here except I had a pretty early night but waited up for my wife who was out with work friends.

By time she did get home after fighting nodding off for hours I couldn't drop off until about 2pm.

Will hopefully sleep well tonight after getting up at 5am to drive for 3 hours to Derby from Somerset for a meeting at our company's other office. As usual when having to make an early start, actually woke up earlier than needed at 4.15am and couldn't get back to sleep. I am officially knackered.

Now sat in the hotel enjoying a pint of Marstons Pedigree while waiting for my Dirty Burger to turn up.
