Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Just home, the other half and the daughter are at grandma and granddad, so I have 2 hours to myself party0

Oi oi work has flew in this week :thu:

Was planning on having folk round for a bbq on Saturday but it's meant to piss down. Suppose I best put the hammock away :)

Was out in it last night doing a bit of reading and the guy 2 down (who is a dickhead as it so happens) was screaming and shouting at the Celtic game and giving it "up the ra" and all that shite.

I've got an all day gig the next Old Firm game but I'll be able to programme and then leave a moodlight that will light his house up red, white and blue for the duration

Just back from a great long weekend of sailing with my parents. We went to the German part of the Waddensea (whatever the proper name in english is for that :embarrassed: ) It was absolutely glorious, weather was unpredictable, sailing was sometimes spectacular, sometimes nice and calm, visiting islands was a ton of fun.

Currently sat in Vienna airport waiting for the baggage drop to open. Been a cracking fortnight away starting with a long weekend followed by exploring a bit of Slovakia around going to our friend's wedding.

Excellent holiday over all.

Soooooo

First post from my new computer. I had a bit of stress with it not recognising its RAM and then not booting into BIOS which sucked ass. Now it's running solid at one piece of RAM, will be testing the other piece tomorrow. Even then, it's absolutely glorious. I've got a pretty decent but "budget" graphics card since I don't care that much about gaming, but I went mental on the CPU and motherboard. Today I loaded pretty much every program I could think of I might need for my work, which used about 10% of my total cpu power... I then continued to open up pretty much everything in my steam library until I ran out of RAM. I am now apparently able to run 8 games at the same time while working :embarrassed:

All in all, I'm so fucking glad I'm done with quitting pretty much everything before being able to resize an image... though this might be a bit of an extreme solution

Funnily enough I'm in the market for a new motherboard, cpu and memory. Mine are 8 years old . Case, power, drives and gpu are all good but it's getting pretty cpu bound running new games. I could just buy a pre-built gaming PC, but where is the fun in that :embarrassed:
