Ouch, I did that loading a set of peavey hisys tops into the car before a gig once - couldn't look left the whole time there, not fun.

I took those bloody things to a DJ association meet and sold the tops and bins for about a quarter of what they were worth just to avoid having to carry them back out of the building

Damn that sucks... hope it gets better soon.

I'm going to drink tons of birthdaybeer now. See you guys in a couple of days when I'm recovered :embarrassed:

You know how I'd spend an ideal Summer holiday Thursday?

Getting up at my usual time as I'm expecting a skip to be delivered between 8 and 10

Running about like mad doing what I needed to do in the afternoon between 11 and 2 as the skip is running late but will be here at 2

And then sitting about at quarter to 3 wondering where the fuck the skip is.

Skip is here  I'm actually quite excited about that for some reason.

Now if only my neighbour who has the key I need to open the gate to our gardens and access the skip fro there was home

Good to see progress of some sort. You do know the skip will be full of your various neighbour's shit before you get to put anything in it right?

Turns out the padlock was rusted shut so I just kicked the thing in, after twiddling my thumbs for 3 hours waiting on the key

Made a start, all of the foliage barring some big roots is in it and I should get most if not all of the soil done tomorrow, hopefully before it gets filled with pishy mattresses

Its a bit out of the way of the road so hopefully not many folk will see it.

There's rumours someone's starting up a Celtic bus from my local next season.

My wallet and waistline will thank me tremendously if it's true :embarrassed:

Thanks for the birthday wishes :) It was fun, some people who are still in town came over, had some drinks. My GF got me a fancy coffee grinder and took me to a shop that roast beans themselves, so I guess I have to become a coffee snob now :embarrassed:
