I'm going to pizza hut for lunch. I know I'm setting myself up for a huge disappointment but the idea of pizza buffet at this time of day is very appealing.

I trust were all in a festive mood for tonights shenanigans? With two small kids my choice is limited, however I shall attempt to drink my own body weight in strong German beer and then collapse. Yay!
 
Myself and the missus are having a shindig and I've gone a bit silly with it.

Got a decent bit of the DJ kit rigged up and spent last night DMXing light shows for it, I'd hazard a guess that we've got close to 30 bottles worth of spirits and enough food to last use for weeks when inevitably nobody touches any of it.

I've got a cold so briefly considered giving tonight a miss to avoid spreading it. But there are going to be 5 kids there so my tiny contribution will be insignificant :embarrassed:
 
Quite exhausted after the gigging this christmas (4 gigs in 6 days), so not quite in party mode yet, but suppose I should be ok once I get going. :grin:
Last couple of nights I haven't been home until about 5 in the morning after gigs, that does wear on you a bit. The playing's been fun, it's all the gear schlepping that sucks...:embarrassed:
Celebrating at my second cousin's apartment tonight, together with a bunch of mutual friends. There will be beer, booze and guitars (my second cousin's a heck of a singer, so jamming with her should be quite fun).

happy (almost) new year bumders :embarrassed: I came off my road bike after hitting some ice at about 25mph yesterday and now have bruised ribs so will be drinking a few refreshing lager beers to try and numb the pain very shortly :(
 
Party at mine - which I'm already regretting.

I've spent the afternoon dicking around doing mixes with all the gear set up and now I'm going to have to do the same later except this time it'll involve my friend's drinkning all my booze and me having to tidy up tomorrow :embarrassed:

Spent the whole day driving home with a cunt a cold but picked up a load of tasty beers from the lakes. Will probably go to pub for tonights festivities around 9-ish and get shitfaced :embarrassed: standard fare
 
Decided against going up to the Heath to watch the fireworks across the city – bit sad on your own.

Instead will be sitting in a chair watching Jools Holland, undecided whether or not that's sadder :embarrassed:

After 3 days of the galloping gut rot, I am now starting the New Year 3/4 of a stone lighter than I started Christmas. TBH I had anticipated that being the other way round beforehand. messedup0
