Quarantine fitness jam

p90x back and biceps today with added weight on a bunch of the moves. I'll be sore tomorrow.

Ran hills today pushing 1son in the jogging stroller. It was....ehhrrmm...challenging. so I recuperated with a big cheeseburger on the grill. With an onion ring swimming pool full of bbq sauce and pickle floaties.

Just trying to see my name on all the top threads, but I do have something to contribute. Been doing a lot more loose weights at home recently.

P90x 3 the challenge today.

Different types of push ups and pull ups - you set a number for each and then you've got to hit that number every time.

I went with 10 push and 5 modified pulls and managed it fine until the burnout round - I could have probably rocked out 13/14 and 7/8 but it's the first time I've done it in years so I'll up the numbers next time.

That's 3 weeks on the bounce I've done 5 workouts. Feeling stronger and definitely seeing results.

I did a half this morning, the first time it's hit 80 (and humid) since I started running more consistently last fall. Now I remember why I didn't like running in the summer before...

Back and biceps today. Upped a few waits and feeling good.

Starting to develop a jail build - all arms and upper body :embarrassed:

My bike has been out of action for a few weeks but my dad managed to fix it today so I'll get back out on that over the weekend.

Quick run this morning but no time for weights this afternoon because of a work meeting. Planning on a 2-fer tomorrow. I'm starting body part specific weight routines this week instead of total body workouts.

Got a relatively short ride in after getting cleared for cycling after my hemorrhoid issue. set some PRs and had a splendid time! Great to be back on the bike. I can feel how my mental health suffers when I can’t. Hiking is just not the same.

Absolutely smashed Shaun T's Speed 2.0 today and that was with the room at 25 degrees and after 2 hours spent hunched into all sorts of horrible positions painting my kitchen :thu:

Did back and chest p90x again yesterday after painting too. Managed to up all of my reps. Good going since I had 4 beers whilst painting - maybe lager is a really under appreciated pre-workout?

Did several runs last week but no weights. Got back on the ball with a 2fer today
Morning run went great. Weightlifting was a dedicated chest/back routine, so that'll leave me a little sore. Which is good I guess.

Rode 38 miles last night, outbound into 15-20 mph headwind with gusts and about as flat and open a route as you can find. Sucked. Then tailwind for the second half but I was tuckered, hungry, and pretty bloated. Dunno if it was the beans and rice earlier, gulping too much air with water, or both. Longest ride this year, and that made 100 miles over three rides in three days, which isn't much historically but is for the past couple years.

I probably ate about a thousand calories when I got back.
