On the road!

no, it does not.
i wasn't sure, because back in those days, the car makers sometimes had special models/options for the canadian market.
Yep.

In my mind’s eye, I could see the 500, but I wasn’t positive.
I found some pics of other Monaco convertibles and convinced my memory that its ‘500’.

This picture is not an antique. I took it today.

Went to Kalamazoo today. Stopped at the mall for some 'throne time', and as I was walking in, passed by one of those new Maserati SUV's. I didn't even realize Maserati made SUV's. I guess they just came out this fall?

ummm.....you go the the mall to take a poop???

I had to go, and they have public restrooms :embarrassed:

Anyways, how about them Maserati SUVs? Do they use crap parts too like the Maserati sedans?
well, a long time ago, Lamborghini made an SUV (LM002), and basically only shieks bought them.
then, decades later, Porsche got into the SUV bizz
and now ALL the supercar companies are making them.
it is pretty stupid, imo.

Today as I was waiting at a stop sign, an older Cadillac drove past. I'm guessing roughly 2000-ish, it looked like a Pontiac Aztec, just not quite as funky-looking, and probably a bit larger.

I never knew Cadillac made such a beast. I wonder what it was called?

After googling, I think it was a Cadillac EXT, with some sort of aftermarket rear cover on it

Cadillac EXT's are pretty rare, arent they? The only time Cadillac ever made a pickup truck! This one wasnt in the greatest shape...not beat up, but more than a little visible rust.

Cadillac Escalade EXT

All original car. Only thing fixed was a re-dye on the leather. It was on it's way to an engine rebuild. Zero compression in one cylinder.

Not seen on the road, but yesterday when I was at the local mall to go to Barnes & Noble, there was a Crosley convertible inside the old JC Penney location, where the local large fresh produce store is going into.

I see on google that Crosley stopped making cars in 1952, and this one looked newer than the 1940s Crosley's I could find in the image section, so its probably one of the last few years of production.

Light blue, but not baby blue...closer to Pelham blue, and with a white interior.
