On the road!

Went to Lansing today, and decided to take the backroad back to Battle Creek on my way home.

Driving thru Charlotte, there was an old car for sale out in someones lawn, it was a 4-door fastback, and had a '1950' front license plate. I think it was a Hudson Commodore, but not 100% sure. Baby blue and looked like this:

Looks like Nash made a 4-door fastback with that boat tail-like rear end too.
But googling images of them, I'm almost positive it was the Hudson.

I should have stopped and taken a pic :thwap:
yea.....i see stuff driving around often, and can't get my phone out fast enough....or i'm driving and can't.
last week i pulled into our parking lot after running out for a samich at lunch, and just as i was closing my car door
a 427 AC Cobra went driving by. i almost dropped my lunch.

technically "little bastard" is James Dean's Porsche 550 Spyder, not a VW.

Weren't those sort of VW engines?

I used to take James Dean Highway to take my Daughter to her Mom's in Bakersfield(ex moved to Bako) when camping at Pismo Coast Village in Pismo Beach with my folks.
