That 3 digit license plate, with a specific number is probably worth about 50,000 USD in the weird Swiss system. There are no custom plates, just numbers in order. If you want a low number, and a specific number, you bid on it to the canton.

i see that Porsche followed the first rule of Italian race car driving: whatsa behinda you....does notta matta!! (no rear view at all)
:bigg:

Not technically on the road, but in the service department of my local Ferrari dealer. I figured you car people would dig a couple of rare sightings they have in the service area. The first is a Daytona NART race car and the other is a pair of F40 cars.

Saw this 68 Dart GTS at the coffee shop yesterday.

my (almost) first car when i turned 16 was a 1969 Dart GTS. 383, 4 speed. it was on a car lot that my dad knew the owner. i spotted it riding my 10 speed one day and went home and told him about it, and he was "well, we'll have to go look at that", and i know he was thinking he knew the owner so he could get a good deal. it was plum crazy purple. and my dad thought it was pretty "snazzy" looking. right up until he told the guy to "fire it up, let's see how it sounds". rrrrrr VROOOOM!!!!
he turned and looked at me and said "no fucking way".
we got back in his car and went home. i was crushed.

Saw this while driving my daughter to work yesterday. So, I set my phone up on the hands free mount before heading back home and hit the video button while at the intersection just before this...
These are stills from that video, zoomed and cropped.

You don’t see many white ones. Do you?

this afternoon at lunch i saw a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6. i couldn't get my phone out fast enough (and it takes shit pics anyway). but it was red, it was a 4 speed and the engine sounded like it was ready for the NHRA. oh my god it was awesome.
(just like this one)

I saw two perfect Aston Martins from the mid fifties driving together, looked to be the same year, one was grey metallic the other green metallic. Really awesome to see that.

Couldn't get a shot, they were going the opposite direction.

Wish I could've gotten pics, but Friday in downtown Marshall MI I saw a Mercedes AMG GT...had a tall ass wing on the back...GT S? GT C?

Also saw one of the new Cadillac CT4's drive by as I was sitting outside a restaurant waiting on my food (outdoor seating allowed). I hadn't seen either the CT5 or the CT4 in the flesh until that CT4 drove by. Small car, not much bigger than my Cruze.

Edit: after googling a bunch of pics, it was probably an AMG GT R, since it had one of those tall-ass Chaperelle-style wings. Those are $200k+ cars, pretty rare to see something that expensive in MI
