Hate to think about how many times I drove this truck.

Been a while since I've seen a first gen GT. When they were new, I saw them all the time.

Probably all dead now, or stuck in the garage because their owners can't disable the factory alarm with their key fobs (see: Jeremy Clarkson)

when i first read your post about "first gen GT", i almost posted a pic of the '66 Gulf GT40 Le Mans winner. then i realized you were talking about the first gen Ford GT....not the GT40. [duh]

Those things are a dime a dozen in my neck of the woods. Granted, it's all ranch and horse property out here, and some people actually have a need for such beasts.

But, when I see the soccer mom pulling up to the grocery store by herself in one of them I want to spit a tirade of insults.

If you can buy an $80-$100K truck for your show ponies, you can probably afford a Honda for the groceries gawddammit.

yea, the guy was pulling up to the liquor store, alone, in the CITY of toledo. there aren't any big ranches around here. there are some folks who have horses, like 3 or 4, but nothing to justify that thing. and, of course, he left it running the whole time he was in the store.
i mean.....it's a fucking dump truck with a pickup bed for cripes sakes.

Typical Swiss traffic. Needs a tractor, a rusty French car, and a Ferrari to complete the experience.

The vehicle is a Swiss amphibious light armored vehicle called a Mowag 8x8. It is a Swiss made thing used for carrying soldiers, recon, and as a tank killer.

^^ Notice the red and green lights on the left hadn't side of the last pic. Just about every parking garage here has lights lake that so you can identify the empty spots (green) quickly and not have to search for them. The system is smart and updates a big LCD screen outside that tells you how many spots there are on each level of a garage. It is so much better than hunting for a spot.
