I don't think it proves he was lying all along. It proves that he has alzheimer's or dementia. He can't remember what he said 10 minutes ago, yet alone on the campaign trail. He is constantly saying, tweeting or doing things that completely contradict things he has previously said, tweeted or done.

I think he just says whatever he thinks the people he's talking to at the time want to hear. He just wants approval - that's why he was acting like a middle schooler trying to impress the high school kids with the Russians last week.

Freeloaders. These people are illegal immigrants. They're criminals and deserve to be cut out. It's the Christian thing to do. :embarrassed:
I'd love to interview some of those coal mining folks next year once this shit starts setting in that not only are there no mining jobs coming back but the government teat that they would be relying on in these times has also been amputated.

Plus I do think he has Alzheimer's or dementia or something. He was always a crap person and an idiot, but he was able to at least put a sentence together in the past. If you watch older interviews with him he wasn't this incoherent.

Don't forget the lack of health coverage.

yea....they never had a confederate flag on stage or anything rolleyes1

It's hard for people who weren't raised in the south to understand this. I'm 46, so way younger than the guys in Skynyrd. I was never taught that the confederate flag was bad. It was part of our heritage and should be celebrated. You travel the state and it is everywhere and you don't think anything about it. Growing up, I saw plenty of African American folks wearing a confederate hat or flying the flag in front of there house. An old bandmate of mine, who is black, was born and raised in VA and he wear's a confederate flag hat on stage and sings lead on Sweet Home Alabama in his current band, so how could it be bad? It wasn't until I went to college and really thought about it that I figured out how wrong it is to celebrate that flag and think about what it really represents. I think for older folks (like the guys in Skynyrd) it took them a little longer to see that. They made a statement years ago saying they were removing the confederate flag from their merchandise and shows. Patterson Hood wrote a great piece about the flag and he has tackled the strangeness of south all through the Truckers catalog.

Also, they look like they are at a funeral.

They'll still support Trump, and they'll still support their republican congress members. After all, those guys are fighting hard to bring back coal, but the damn "government" stands in their way.
