Again, in the past 45 years that I've been around I can't think of more dellued thinskinned politician. He's doing almost everything that he claimed Hillary would do or did do. He has the temperament of a middle schooler, but perceives himself as one of the would-be untouchable "cool" kids. He can't believe that he's being called out on his bullshit. This is what happens when you put someone in power that doesn't know how to play any game but his own.

Have I mentioned that Trump is a pathetic piece of shit? If not, let me know and talk more about it. :thu:

Burr: Flynn not cooperating with Senate Russia probe

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/05/18/michael-flynn-not-cooperating-investigation-238554

Earlier Thursday, The Associated Press reported, based on comments from Burr, that Flynn had informed the panel he would not honor the subpoena. But Burr later said his comments “may have been premature” and that “there may be a day or two left” until the deadline to respond to the subpoena.

“We have not gotten the definitive answer,” Burr clarified. “Michael Flynn has not cooperated with the committee up to this point.”

sounds to me like someone needs some jail time.

My Facebook feed has people complaining about Hillary's email and all the classified stuff Obama disclosed as some sort of bizarre attempt to deflect from the Trump investigations. Why would one person's crimes impact the innocence or guilt of another in completely separate legal matters? It is the craziest false equivalence argument I have ever seen. If there was really something worth chasing in Hillary or Obama's past, the Republican controlled White House and Congress would likely do something about it. I mean, ball is in your court fellas....go ahead and investigate and bring some charges. *crickets*

I love the ones saying "can't wait until the special prosecutor gets to Hillary's email server, all the people she killed and Obama!!!"

I'm like, "what do you think this guy is there for? Sorry for you, but this one is all for Donny Boy, not Hillary again, and again, and again..."

This is why partisanship is unappealing to me. The justification never ends.

The classified thing is silly except for it being dangerous. It was during this calendar year that there were some issues/discussions regarding classified information. The President is basically the only person that can spontaneously declassify information. That said, just because he can doesn't mean he should, especially in this particular situation. It's actually more like a smoke screen to draw attention away from the larger and more important Russia investigation. However, sharing information from another country without their approval to a third country seems to well overstep his bounds. This wasn't U. S. intelligence, but intelligence shared with the U.S. provenance and ownership of this information matters.

It is a stupid move. This part of why he was always terrible choice for president...he's completely unfiltered and reactionary. If you can get him talking long enough while distracting him from the stream of horrible things he's saying you could get this buffoon to admit his incompetence, how in over his head he is, and how much he's fucked up. You can see it starting to happen in almost every interview he's ever done. It's when the interviewers, how are rightly stunned by some of the shit he says, seek to clarify something that it gives him pause and he starts to reflect upon his utterances (if even for just a few seconds) that he might realize he's said something questionable. He likely doesn't know why what he's said might set off alarms, but he picks up on the reactions and tone of the question.

Total fucking idiot. He scares me, truly. And the unwillingness of the GOP shitheads in Congress to call him out completely ENRAGES me. They're all garbage. Even the shittiest Democrat, and plenty of them are shit, shines like the purest diamond next to the "best" Republican in congress. They are the swamp. And they know it. It's why they're playing along with Trump, because they don't want to be drained. Are larger more obvious bunch of cowards I've never seen.

I've always disliked Bill O'Riley, but his radio was on here years ago following Stern's so every now and then I caught it. There is one thing he used to say that I agree with and that is don't point to bad behavior to justify bad behavior.

Yup, his supporters aren't that bright and have a minimal understanding of these processes. They don't even understand basic civics. They're too blind to see and too brainwashed to acknowledge that the GOP was the reason for political gridlock during the majority of President Obama's administrations. Again, their guys ARE the swamp...plus a few of the Democrats that have overstayed their welcome.

The fact is that Hillary has been investigated and cleared, by congressional committees that were clearly gunning for her and a former FBI director that was no friend of hers of the Democratic party/process. Re-investigating would be massive waste of time and money, but that seems what the GOP does/likes best in Congress, because it sure as hell ISN'T writing and proposing bills that will benefit the citizens of the U.S.

Would bringing her up on charges without some substantial and new information be the equivalent to double jeopardy? If Hillary and Bill had all the influence and ability to commit the alleged crimes and then cover them up, do you think they would have let her lose...WAIT! I get it now! She lost to avoid having all her crime revealed. It's just another part of the cover-up of all of the people that have disappeared and the babies she eats to stay alive. She is a demon from hell (per the Alex Jones or whatever his name is asshole) and is thousands of years old...how else could she stay alive.

And what has Obama done that could even begin to be considered investigation worthy? I'll answer that...nothing criminal. Judgement calls that raise eyebrows and are disagreed with are part of the job, but Obama knew his position and played it as by the book as possible to not tarnish his historic presidency. Despite dipshit's assertions otherwise, Obama is undoubtedly the most embattled President in history...it's just that is was by the illegitimate, fake news lead by Fox. They do not speak for the majority and are not the mainstream, even today.

Crap, I'll stop now...for now.

Yet he and his former network were built on just that. He was/is so full of shit.

remember when you were like 6 or 7, and your sister/brother got in trouble for something and their reaction/response to your parents was to point their finger at you and tell your parents that you did something wrong?

kinda like that mentality.

Trump’s problem is that for most of his life nobody has been able to tell him no. During his childhood and colleges people probably put up with his shit to ingratiate themselves to Fred Trump. His father loaned him a huge pile of money to start his business. He’s always been able to fire anyone who didn’t disagree with him. If he completely screwed up he just put the company in bankruptcy and moved on. During his campaign he surrounded him with sycophants. He only aligned himself with media outlets that favored him. Now Trump is seventy years old and for the first time in his life people are able to tell him no. He has no idea how to handle it, and it’s happening so much that he can’t just shut it out with cognitive dissonance. It must be driving him crazy.
