Yeah, I know and I love that term...even my wife who is a Christian, a pro-choice (though not one she would make), liberal, loving, embracing, forgiving, awesome Christian, finds the term fitting when she thinks about all of the horrible people out there calling themselves Christians and acting horribly in Christ's name. I'm not sure there's a religion where more people talk some sort of talk about the faith while so missing the boat and walking a completely contradictory walk...

Ryan is a tool and his political cache should have sunk with the failure of the Romney campaign in 2012. I'm sure that's why he didn't run in 2016. Now he's built up recognition and brand awareness to the point that some asshats are what?...starting to think he's not a myopic dumbass twit?

This guy would eat babies if it would cut taxes as he thinks that taxes are the real problem. Not how we spend them and what too much of them are focused on, but that we have them at all. How about all of these supposed public servants take 25% pay cut that becomes tax credits to all of us? On a federal and state level. That save us a shit ton in taxes right there. And unless they can either improve the ACA or start the ball rolling on a single-payer system...let them have to pay for their health care out of pocket AFTER taxes FOLLOWING the aforementioned 25...fuck it, let's got to a 50% salary cut. To be clear this is across the board and bipartisan salary cuts, including their staffs. When you really have to care because you aren't getting fat salary working for some fat ass in DC you'll see more people that really care about real issues and less that are using these jobs as stepping stones for their own political careers...maybe...

I posted that weeks ago. If the GOP wants a real win in relation to ACA, they have to at least improve it. Their political legacy would be almost golden if they had the balls to throw down on the insurance companies and propose a single payer system. The Dems would almost unanimously vote in favor and healthcare would go from being a privilege, which it horribly is in our country, to a right...a part of the package of citizenship.

Want to further rebuild the Republican brand as the party of the people? Do the above and STILL boot Trump and anyone else directly involved in his shitty presidency. Complete win-win for every except the racist pieces of shit still in office and the million and millions of more that voted for Trump. They'd still benefit greatly from it, but they'd hate that a blatant "one of them" was no longer the president.
 
I say we just overthrow the government, then go to Queen Elizabeth, admit that we were wrong, and accept surrender with the sole condition that we not be allowed to self-govern again for another 300 years.
