This is really the most amazing thing I've read all week. And that is saying something. OKLAHOMA: http://www.newson6.com/story/35398128/republicans-announce-plan-to-fill-state-budget-hole

The caucus said there are 82,000 non-English speaking students in the state.

“Identify them and then turn them over to ICE to see if they truly are citizens, and do we really have to educate non-citizens?” Ritze asked.

The caucus thinks that could save $60 million.
That freaking state purchases $39 million in state swag to hand out to the public for free. Finally they will stop doing that/or they recommend to stop doing that.

Regarding the students, states have any number of registry offices for a multitude of requirements. If those offices are doing their job then the mention or looking into of students is not needed because the parents should have been check/double checked for any number of reasons. 82,000 non-English speaking students is a poor definition IMO. Is he trying to say that on one day 82,000 students that could not speak a single word of English walked into the door wanting the state to provide them an education? That would be significant. Or that they have 82,000 students that can't determine citizenship status of. Which I also find hard to believe giving what I had to provide for my kids to start school in the states of Wyoming, South Dakota, and Virginia. Regardless, I can't help but think there is a federal fund to assist in this area if handled accordingly via regulation. Then again, you do have to read them.

“In a short period of time I understood everything there was to know about health care,” Trump told Time magazine in an interview published Thursday. “And actually it’s a very interesting subject.”

Trump asked the magazine’s editors if they understood what he meant by “we have to prime the pump.” Then he asked if they had ever heard of the phrase while claiming to have thought it up earlier this week.

“Have you heard that expression used before? Because I haven’t heard it. I mean, I just… I came up with it a couple of days ago and I thought it was good. It’s what you have to do,” Trump said.

Six top US intelligence officials told Congress Thursday they agree with the conclusion that Russia acted to influence last year's election, countering President Donald Trump's assertions that the hacking remains an open question.

Asked whether they believed the intelligence community's January assessment that Russia was responsible for hacking and leaking information to influence the elections was accurate, all six spy and law enforcement bosses appearing before the panel said "yes."
