not going to happen. the only way cheeto is leaving is by being voted out....or horizontally.

and besides....what we are really missing is a "john dean".
 
So now trump gets to hire the person in charge of the criminal investigation of him. Gee I wonder if that will be covered in the job interview?

Today is going to be interesting. I think t went with his "infallible" gut feelings on this one and made a huge tactical error. Even if he and his team have nothing to worry about from the Russia investigation (which seems unlikely, but his opposition to it could just be his pride), this move makes it appear like he is trying to quash the investigation before something horrible can come of it. At the very least he is fueling speculation along those lines.

I've read/watched a couple of stories where they say he was taken aback by the backlash to this last night. In other words, he's an idiot.

I doubt Ryan will run for reelection. He’s made it as far in he can in politics. The Trumpcare bills have made him look like a laughable failure as policy wonk, so he’d never be taken seriously in the Senate. He’s probably too unpopular with both sides to win a Senate race, much less a presidential election. But he’s not even 50 yet, so he has time to grow his fortune by starting a consulting firm and serving on a bunch of corporate boards.

I don't care if he runs again. I hope the public makes the rest of his life a shit show after he has spent a congressional career trying to fuck up the US.
