Master of the Meh
As a "seemingly intelligent" person, I am backing a candidate whom I believe to be the best option among the available choices.
The system is not ideal, the candidate pool is not ideal. The stakes however, are very real, and only those who take part can even hope to contribute to some possible step towards changing anything.
Until there's a real effort to modify the process, we still need to at least try and make the best possible choice. I don't see that as ignorant and futile as some have suggested. It's the seemingly intelligent people who sit back and scoff while knowing full well that the supporters for the opposition are more pro-active in voting but can't be arsed to do the same that puzzle me.
