I saw it last night. I enjoyed it.
I agree there was no time to breathe. It was pretty much ACTION ACTION ACTION. On the other hand, there wasn't anything I thought should have been edited out... certainly no Casino Planet or Republic Senate sequences.
It felt like part of this movie's "mission" was to clean up the galactic continuity mess made by the previous movie. They did that pretty well, I thought. Yeah, there were still a lot of things that were a stretch. Overall, the number of "Oh come on" horseshit moments was way less than I've come to expect from all the modern-era Star Warseses.
The other movies set this one up well by lowering my expectations.
I'm skeptical they are going to stop after this movie. I guess we'll see.
